💙💙💙 Omg I love love love this sleep story so much. 💛 I LOVE the CALM app, I listen to the stories at night and during the morning when I’m feel anxious getting ready or any other time I’m feeling anxiety, it really helps me to relax. It really is the best app and well worth paying for the yearly subscription. 💙 I’ve been listening to the Nordland night train story almost every night - since I first heard it over a week ago. I also have listened to Eric Braa’s other sleep stories on the app - they are all so wonderful, he has such a soothing voice. ❤️ This sleep story in particular is my absolute favourite - it’s so wonderful. His voice is so calming and the story is just so lovely. 🚞 I love this sleep story so much, that it makes me want to go to Norway, and take that train ride! And I will go, one day, by myself - live out this guided story for myself in real life. I love to travel by myself - when I do that, I feel like I’m in my own guided story. 🚂 I’ve been doing some research on how I would do that. I’m thinking about doing it next year for my birthday. Or maybe in the summer when there is the midnight sun so more daylight hours. 💫 This sleep story has made me fall in love with Norway and I’ve only been once years ago at night to the artic circle in Norway to see the Northern lights - our tour guide drove us from Finland, we saw the most amazing night sky filled with shooting stars and I could see planets with my naked eye, it was like being in space, it was incredible, but it was super cold minus 30oC, but finally in the very far distance we saw green hues of the Northern lights. But now I really want to go to Norway to see the mountains and the landscape and take scenic train rides and take that Nordland train and now it’s all I can think about, I really want to go to Norway now. I read that it’s one of the safest places to visit for solo female travellers. I want to take all the scenic train rides in Norway and explore all the beautiful landscapes. ✈️ What I have found so far: Get a flight from Gatwick to Trondheim. Norwegian Air flies directly from Gatwick to Trondheim. Nordland line, 71 from Trondheim Sentralstasjon 71 to Bodo at 07:38 Night train to Bodo at 23:40 I would get the morning train though - so I can see the scenery on the way to Bodo. Then return Bodo stasjon to Trondheim - 71 at 12:15pm - getting to Trondheim at 22:00 They say it’s worth spending time at Bodo to visit the islands - you can take a ferry. Need to do more research. How to get from the airport to Trondheim station 🚉 ‘The train station of Trondheim Airport is known as Vaernes and Trondheim Lufthavn - accessible in a few minutes from Terminal A and terminal B via a covered pedestrian way. Trondheim airport train station is next to Raddison Blu hotel. Travel time to the main railway station Trondheim S is approx 35 mins.’

It's remarkable, it paints a beautifully evocative, calming picture that is entirely devoid of diversity. Curious how that sparks reassuring feelings of comfort, trust and familiarity. Better times.

Love your voice. I can vision dinner and wine by candle light on a balcony above a peaceful vista with the moon rising. Listening to your voice. Lol, yep that's my story. Love this story of the train ride btw!!!

What is it like to live in a Scandinavian country? I've been longing for a life in Norway for a few years now. I may only have a few more to go if all goes according to plan.

I love your voice and train stories. I can't find the one which was my introduction to "you". I would love to hear your story of the train leaving Venice during the festival where some where full mask with distinctive chins. You then describe the train, it's special place in the station, the uniform of the staff. I love this one; however, I miss my first love and perfect 30 minutes. 😚Hopefully, I will find it one day. Thank you.
