Well I am so glad it's getting you to sleep-- it's funny how nights that you cannot sleep and want to, your mind won't allow it. But here you are wishing to stay awake, and then you're asleep in ten minutes! I find that in other things in life. Sometimes when I stop wanting something, it just appears with ease.

This reminds me of my grandma because at her old house there was this room that had a very steep staircase leading to a attic everytime I went up those stairs I was worried about falling but I never did but boy did those stairs scare me and the top of the stairs was really close to the ceiling And even though I'm older now I still have those memories :)

Mmmmm.... this story is so cozy! You really sounded like you were smiling the whole time as you recited the story. It made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. Up to now I've listened on 2 nights and remember only up to the point where you're describing the inside of the antique shop. The whole feeling of walking around in the dark, sparsely populated village is really relaxing to me and I love these sorts of places in real life too. For me this is story is really a standout amongst your work, almost like a nice blanket in which you can wrap yourself up. Loved it, and I'm going to listen again!
