Michelle is a writer, and a speaker -inspiring me over many months. In my life, I recall only a few artistic influencers lasting 9+months: A live 5-piece Dixieland Jazz band at age ~8. Led Zeppelin’s first and fourth LPs at age ~14. Witnessing Yes play live, 1979, age 17. Reading Jared Diamond’s ‘Guns, Germs and Steel,’ at age 45. Resolving adulthood comes so easily for me via sound, music, and history; all stuff of wondrous stories.

Now you can imagine me considering this as I wrote-- but then I was so torn, considering another location, I kept the interpretations open.

Well you did a fine job I had no idea where I was whether it was morning noon or dusk until the sun set and that I did a great deal of eating but no idea what I ate. I imagine it’s difficult to create narratives that have similar themes and intention yet have differences enough to make them stand on their own. Your stories are like art that holds its magic in the subjective interpretation by the listener. Each one has layers of intention and heuristic. I always second guess things I write and endlessly try and perfect it to the point it becomes a senseless mess. You compose words as easily as breathing. This was a nice train ride. When I think of trains I think of my sons infant obsession with Thomas the tank engine which was very sweet and innocent except the host of that show was first George Carlin and then Ringo Star which I found incredibly ironically hilarious. I expected a rant from George any minute or a snarky Liverpool comment from Ringo. They both somehow played the role and I will always remember that show. I will always remember your stories

What a great simple sweet short story. Your voice and delivery is mesmerizing and always at the center of your storytelling. In my humble opinion the train sounds could have been a little more pronounced but it’s all good.

Thank you so much-- I am very fortunate to live on higher ground, a decision I made after Hurricane Sandy and Irene. I missed out on teaching and the subways were shutdown, but luckily save and dry! And the city bounced back quickly in terms of the metro working.

I can never enter a true dream about them. BUt they do have health benefits trying to get rid of the last of a cough so I can give blood. This is helpful. My parents have it too but I have been least effected @@MichellesSanctuary
