Thanks Pastor Paul. In studying these chapters and reading how prophecies are fulfilled and how God "stirs up spirits within people", I'm just struck by His awesome sovereignty. It's like God holds up His mighty hand and the entire earth and its inhabitants are in the shadow of His hand. He is all-knowing and all-powerful and can even use sinful human nature to accomplish His purposes. It's comforting to know that God is ultimately in control of everything despite the appearance of increasing chaos. ALL GLORY TO GOD!

So you asked a question around 27:00. So what would I say if God told me today that judgment is coming to my nation regardless? Well that’s seems to be a very real possibility right now in the United States. I have been praying to God that if that be His will then I hope I’m ready. I just pray that God will help see me and my family through and pray for America and the rest of the world to hear His voice and turn from their ways. That’s it

2nd chronicles : Chap 34 - 36 (I.e. end of chronicles)

Question: 2nd Chron 34:8 says . . . in the 18th year of Josiah's reign, when he had purged the land and house, he sent Shapan . . . (on to the book of the law found, money collected to repair the house, etc.). Yet, in 2nd Kings 23:4, it is after the book of the law is found, etc., that he ordered the items pertaining to Baal to be removed from the house. How did he purge the house, but only later remove the items pertaining to Baal? If I read 2nd Chron 34:8 as . . . in the 18th year of Josiah's reign, the year that he purged the land and house . . . it would seem more in line. What is the key to understanding this sequence?
