What those in charge don't seem to understand is that heating a building is important because it drives the damp out which helps to maintain the structural integrity of the building and prevents things like mould from forming. The UK is cold and damp and those things combined are destructive and miserable, both for the buildings and the people.

My son at 7 years old now 14 had a dream of me, him and his nan at church staring at the cross on stage, all of a sudden he said the cross dissappeared and a triangle appeared with an eye in the middle and all the congregation bowed down except us. It reminds me of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. The institutionalised church is turning its back on God, house churches will return. God is saperating the wheat from the chaff. I've been blessed by Fr Calvin and The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters. Although I don't reside in the UK, I've been following events via multiple KZbin channels in the UK and from what I've seen, I get the impression that it's not that he's unhappy in the UK (as it's his home), but he's threatened by those within the UK. Let us all pray for him, all of the faithful, and those whose lives and livelihoods have been and continue to be threatened and put under duress from within the church and without.

Our local cathedral in Truro Cornwall used to be floodlit, they turned the lights off a few years ago. To me it was a metaphor for the Shekina presence, the glory, the light of the Lord has left the place, so too the turning off of heating this coming winter, the warmth, the comfort of the Holy Spirit, gone. Despite all the attempts to money make with exhibitions like 'Gaia' , gin bars , rock concerts, masked balls, silent disco yoga, green agenda exhibitions and more, the cathedral is still making cuts. I believe this is because God will not bless what is not of Him and often what is blatently demonic.

I am a detransitioner, I lived over twenty years as a woman, sadly after having that stupid surgery. Now I am living as the man God made me. Although I understand completely how much pain transgender identity can bring, my experience is that surgery isn't a cure. It just puts you in a fool's paradise for a while until reality jackboots you in the face. Just accept your physical reality. It cant be changed.

I have been listening to you for many months now. I am a Roman Catholic convert of 30 years, reared as an old school Pentecostal. I feel for you and what you have endured. With heating it makes you wonder how people survived the first 1950 years of Christianity in unheated stone churches. A lot of this is down to the quality of clothing. Historically people were clad in well-fit wool and linen clothing. Now it's all rack-fit polyester that provides no protection from the environment.

Small church buildings, originally, close contact, body heat. And most who attended church were dirt-poor and clothing was poorly made and maintained. Check your history again - many died early in their lives due to illness and malnutrition, unless one was one of the then Elites, and they often had private chapels in-house. Nothing much improved until the mid-1800s.

Another new subscriber 👍😊🙏. I love your weekly vlog, to listen to a minister who talks sense and is true to God's word, bless you for that, I'm so pleased that I found you on youtube. I have attended my local C of E church in our village for over thirty years and I have seen a decline in the Orthodox biblical teaching, wishy washy sermons, only ten minutes long at most, lacking in depth and meaning and luke warm presentation of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The congregation had dwindled dramatically over the last ten years or so. At present we are without a resident vicar, I have a sinking feeling that we will get a woman 🙄. That will be the end for me, and it saddens me deeply as I have known many lovely God fearing people through that church, and it is a very homely church. I myself do not attend as I used to, I have enjoyed your lovely services on Sunday morning, your sermons are brilliant, bless you Rev. Brett for your teaching, I think it was terrible how you and your family have been treated, for teaching the truth. I miss your services very much, it is not the same without you. I'm continuing to pray for you and your family Rev Brett. You are NOT alone my brother in Christ. I'm still in search of a Bible believing church having great disappointments with my original Lutheran church of Australia. I felt an absolute chill up my spine when speaking with a female Anglican minister the other day - she sounded so fake and I was deterred by those rainbow badges on her lapel. For now it's reading the bible and seeking the company of other bible believing christians in the search to meet at a place of worship where I can feel comfortable and safe - Australia is becoming unsafe for Christians.

This Government is headed by a Prime Minister who is allied to Davos, and that is meeting place for World Economic Forum and WHO wherever based. I have been taking a rug to church with me for years. I am from the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia but it does get very cold here & I suffer from rheumatism but I am quite happy to take my warm rug as we don't have airconditioning in our church but open the windows in summer & they do have gas heaters to take the chill off the building in winter but it costs a fortune to run & I would have to be sitting on top of them to keep warm enough. I do NOT wish my freewill offering to be wasted on airconditioning to make my hour with the Lord cosy, but would rather use a rug & know that my money is going to much needed projects. Besides this winter was the coldest we have had in a few years & we can't afford to run our airconditioning here at home so we all have extra warm "oodies" to wear & lots of blankets. We in the western nations need to be less self-centred & more willing to go without some of our comforts. In fact, I am in my late 70s & when I grew up as a child in the 1950s we didn't have all these wonderful modern day amenities that today's generation take for granted but we survived.
