Hey Cameron, what an amazing Eddie Van Halen guitarist u r man. I gotta know though, either u have extremely long fingers or ur frets r custom made closer 2 one another. Viewing u doing those super crazy EVH stretching licks like it's easy when it's not, has got 2 b the reason. I can also play Eruprion and many other EVH shreds, but so often after doing so, the inner part of my wrist with get an aching pain very similar 2 what's known as Carple tunnel. I may have misspelled it. Well Cameron, keep on shredding and I'll keep on watching😉👍🎸🎵🎶

Hey Cameron, have you ever done the solo from Black and Blue? It is my favorite VH solo. It could come off as complete musical nonsense, the whole solo is Ed pretty much just making noise but it's Eddie Van Halen so, of course that "noise" is actually extremely musical, badass, HUGE, aggressive, beautiful, fun and all the other great adjectives you could throw at an EVH solo. To me, I just like to imagine Eddie mocking all other musicians by being better than them simply just by the very act of making noise.

I think Joe's a good choice. Glad they didn't choose a 'Van Halen clone' so to speak. Thanks for the kind words. I'd never get picked for something like that because I'm in the UK and they'd need a personality like Joe to sell tickets if they're going to tour it. If they picked a nobody that could play Van Halen better than Satch, nobody would go to the gigs.

I wonder if Vai was inspired by Judgement Day to create Building A Church? Looks like it to me. Same position and close in sound.
@CameronCooper Жыл бұрын
I get the sense he was inspired by the technique but playing building the church is a lot more complicated. Makes the sequence from judgement day appear somewhat basic in some ways.
