Iron remover, wash, clay, paint correct, and it will look great. Add a coating yourself easy to do with some practice and patience. Check out obsessed garage and pan the organizer. As for going out it’s normal to feel guilty as a new father, especially if you actually care lol. You are a good dad.

I recently applied the carpro U.K 3.0. Very easy to do. I will say though in warmer climates, it flashes quick. 30 secs to a min. Or less. Id definitely have some microfiber towels kicking around so you can switch them out. Definitely take your time. If you miss any spots removing. U will see it in the light and u will have to polish it out. And re apply

I honestly thought that just look liked dust at first glance on the Type R, but whatever it is it doesn't look like anything a fresh paint correction and/or detail can't take care of. Don't sweat the stuff too much about being away making vids and whatnot. I feel the same way when I'm taking too long at the gym, doing house chores, and maintaining my cars (22 Challenger RT, 22 Charger RT, 18 Q50, 04 C5). Not to brag but all that with a newer construction home and I feel like all I do is maintenance and my wife is taking care of our 9 year old. I try to make up for it in the evening. I'm sure you're getting it all done, the fact that you're cognizant of this early into fatherhood tells me you're doing a great job as a father. Keep it up, looks like the three of you got it together and are thriving. It will get easier as the baby will begin communicating and gradually start helping you both out.

I had a feeling its the tires. Since the tuner lug nuts pretty much centers the wheel to the hub. In the past ive never used hubrings. And never had an issue. But hubrings are just another extra safety to have.

You could do it yourself. You’ve got the right tools. Low speed on the DA, take your time. No circle movements, just up down, left right. With those core rules it’s hard to mess anything up. You’ll be fine. For the coating, with the lights now you’ll be able to see high spots. I think you’d be good. BUT if you have Billy at Presidential Detailing/Auto Paint Guard do it, there’s a reason it’s expensive. He’s the best and you get the best. And he has RS6 Avant’s and Ford GT’s in there constantly to prove it. But if it was me. I’d do it myself.

I have 4S also. You made right choice in staying with Michelin. I’ve bought every tire at Tire Rack for past 20 years. I had to do a warranty on my nephew’s tire a few months ago and was a PIA also. I still probably will use them but they ain’t what they used to be! Hope they get it straight! Seems so odd as we have same tires that come on every 100,000$+ performance car that doesn’t have Pilot Super Sports. You can get that out with your DA and some Meguires black bottle Compound, then polish then wax. Screw that ceramic stuff😂. Dude your Bonneville SSEI thing is hilarious. I remember me and my dad testing one new at Charlie Harris Pontiac in Clearwater. No idea if still there. Ended up with a Taurus SHO. Both cool cars back in day. Maybe it is an exhaust rubbing somewhere😂? JK man. I do hope it is the tires. It just seems odd you’d get 3 bad ones in a much much easier tire to balance them your 20’s. If you had 20’s still with the Road Force that far off on 3 tires it would feel way worse with no sidewall’s. Sorry rambling while watching. Good luck but I don’t think this story is done yet! If it’s bad tires that be so odd. I mean if you really think about it, to me seems wheels but who the hell knows at this point. Sorry for your PIA! 👍🏻

Wash ur car and dry after that use meguiars cleaner wax very easy to use after one week turtle wax ceramic spray coating after two weeks use. Turtle wax hybrid pure shine. Spray it will make ur car look like new ...every 4 months just touch it up with more ceramic spray coating u will be good to go u can also use ceramic spray coating on ur headlights for protection against uv rays and oxidation

Given that i do warranty work for multiple tire manufacturers Michelin has ride disturbance coverage but only covers 2 tires because they believe that more than two tires can be the issue is not possible, if submitted for ride disturbance. But if your tires are fairly new you can submit it as a ride guarantee usually good for 30 days usually reason youd go with it is you are not satisfied with the ride, feel, cosmetic etc

Looks like clear coat failure on the type r. It’s a common issue on Hondas mostly on the spots that gets direct sunlight like the hood, roof, trunk, fenders n pillars. Same thing happened to my car and I eventually had to get it partially resprayed because washing, waxing, clay bar n ceramic coating didn’t last long.

Stock side mirror covers should be pretty cheap so if you want to play around, they shouldn't be too expensive to replace.

A polish will remove very little clear coat it shouldn’t worry you. The “Pros” rarely use paint gauges and just do test spots starting from least aggressive (Polish) and seeing what works. You should definitely do it yourself it’s not hard, just time consuming. Wash, clay, polish, panel prep, then ceramic coat.

I recommend going to privately owned businesses in the future. I go to a performance shop to get anything done on my car. They're cheaper than corporate owned businesses. Unless you can do it yourself, go to a private car business.

Ive no idea how consumer laws work in the US but in the UK the onus is on whoever sold the item to exchange or refund, not the manufacturer. In the UK i have proof the tyres are not as described and also not fit for purpose, i would take them back to where i bought them and get a full refund. Distance Selling Regulations ie anything purchased over the internet are even stronger here.

$1200 to $1400 is what you should be paying. And that should be a reputable coating as well. Don't let them use some non name brand company with no warranty that cost them $40 for the bottle. You're not paying for the coating obviously, the entire cost is labor /knowledge

That’s not clear coat failure. Not on such a new car. That’s oxidation and UV fade on the ceramic coating you applied a couple years ago. Should clean up real nice with a light polish and application of the new ceramic coating. The sun is brutal in the places you’ve lived though.

Also, I was thinking about closing the garage door and opening up the door to the house when I do the paint correction and ceramic coating so the humidity from outside doesn't mess with the process. Thoughts on that?

You're 100 percent paying for the knowledge and equipment. You can get incredible coatings yourself for $150. And applying it is super easy. It's knowing how to do the prep work and polishing. No question $2600 is an F'ing joke. For someone that isn't comfortable polishing their own car, $1000 to $1400 is what you should be paying. $2600 is an F'ing scam. And make sure you know what brand coating your getting. Gtechniq, Duraslic, etc. Not some fly by night company that can't tell you the ceramic content. As well as making sure there is a warranty on the coating. More importantly if the person isn't willing to maintain the coating correctly then save your money. If you're going to go thru drive thru car washes and not Descale / Iron remover occasionally the coating won't last. Bottom line a ceramic coating is going to keep the car cleaner a little longer and more importantly make it much easier to clean. It won't stop scratches and doesn't stop the car from getting dirty. Some people actually believe it stops scratches lol.
