hachi being here is easilly explained: he just walked. Being a fishman, he can jsut walk or swim through the ocean if he felt like it, and noone said that HACHI, SPECIFICALLY, had gotten captured by the marines. also one of the early cover arcs is about Hachi and what happened to him after Arlong Park c: dude had an adventure, and even met camie and set up his takoyaki business! (so no, Oda didn't make this up for this arc, he had it already set up way bakc when and then since we're here either decided on a whim to have hachi and camie be involved in this plot or always intended for this to be a thing, or had the idea to bring hachi and camie back for an arc and built it around them)

It does say that Hatchi was captured by the marines. We see his escape from a prison ship in the first panel of the cover story. The prison ship was most likely over Grand Line waters at the time of his escape. I doubt Hatchi is capable of swimming the Calm Belt without getting eaten by Neptunians.

I think you guys should know that Hatchi’s journey to this point was a cover story that happened during Alabasta. If you want to see how he met Camie, you have to go back and read it.

Hachi and Arlong where originally Grandline pirates btw. So it's not that crazy that they would be able to get here. It's probably a lot easier to get through the grandline as a Fishman.

I think you guys probably know this already from patreon people who might've reminded you of this, but the Arlong pirates are "Grandline pirates", Belle mare even said so. They were FROM the Grandline. They went to the East Blue to start ruling all the seas, cuz Arlong's goal was to rule over all humans, not to find the One Piece in the Grandline.

That's not how Hatchi ended up in the Grand Line though. He was taken there by a navy ship but escaped, it's in the cover story. Arlong was on that prison ship as well; and most likely has either been executed at Impel Down or is a Celestial Dragon slave in Mary Geoise. . Arlong was dropped off in East Blue when he was released the first time, he didn't necessarily know how to get back.

But "the Grand Line map" means the map of Reverse Mountain. Arlong had never been up Reverse Mountain before so it fits. To be honest if anything it makes less sense that Buggy needs a Grand Line map since he has actually been up Reverse Mountain before.

@IamGrimalkin actually he didn't Roger found buggy and Shanks when they were babies and took them with him, also Nami knows about the reverse mountain but they don't know where the entrance exactly But the live action treats fishmen like they are living with the humans and can be found anywhere which is not the case They only live in the grand line they don't usually travel to other seas I know that arlong was talking about fishmen superiority since arlong park and that he hate humans But we don't know about discrimination & slavery until sabaody they were some hints in Tom flashback The live action made it clear to send a message and also because they are not sure if they will continue the series

@@Maxpain350 Well yeah, they clearly brought the slavery stuff earlier; the same way they brought lots of stuff earlier in the live action. In the live action you want to see more character motivations early, I guarantee you we will see Crocodile mention Whitebeard in the next two seasons. Fishman are mostly in fishman island but I'll dispute the idea they are solely found there. After all, Minks are found mostly in Zou but Merry was probably a mink. Also in the manga we do see fishmen outside of Fish-man island, just in the Grand Line. There's no reason there wouldn't be any in East Blue. Especially since really we're only talking about a single Fish-man abroad the Baratie.

This is why I always recommend reading the cover stories. They connect small plots together like how Hachi found his way there. Some are basically just filler (Jango-Fullbody), but others are really important and set up big things for the world (Coby-Garp). As the story goes, they become more important. The anime don't them for some odd reason despite the fact that they are clearly a part of the story. They even did Coby-Helmeppo and Buggy's cover story so I don't understand what changed. You guys read the first chapter of HxH in a reaction so I would recommend that you do the same here. Especially since you're already watching the fillers and clearly are interested in consuming all of the content in OP.

Fishmen can just swim through the calm belt. They can fairly easily avoid the sea kings. Also it’s always funny seeing people over theorize on who Duval is. The reality is so much better than any theory.

In the Fisher tiger flashback they are there in the crew,they are shown crying when Koala leaves,when Tiger dies, but then they turn their back to everything that Tiger was trying to do they are even worse that Arlong to me, at least Arlong cared for his fellow fishmen and respected Fisher Tiger. But Macro and his crew are using the fishmen racism to get some money, they don't deserve to have those sun tatoo

In one piece Fish and other sea creatures like octopuses, snails, etc are a very diverse group. Fishmen are intelligent species among all other sea creatures. We humans are intelligent beings among all land animals and we also eat cows, pigs, and sheep. Fishmen eating fish is like landmen eating other land animals to me. I did not see that as weird.
