Thanks. I'm always on the look for old Camillus Knvies

Antique treasures. These knives will never exist again even if Camillus made knives in the U.S. again. They are priceless.

That spiral punch is an interesting feature, thanks for sharing them, all, Tobias.

I'm not sure if it is anymore effective than a plain spiral, but I always liked the look of it.

That is a great pattern. I have a couple of #64's, #65's in delrin stag and butter & molasses as you showed in the graphics. One of each is in my rotation often as they are nearly the same as the Western 657 stockman with a punch, one of my favorite carry pieces. I believe you are correct about early productions of this model. I checked and found that Western's very first year of their own production was 1919 and in that first year they had four models of Stockmans/Cattlemans with a punch blade, which was a third of their patterns that year. So they must have been popular with the eastern cutleries before that.

I wouldn't doubt that Mr. Kastor just copied a Solingen made knife Stockman he had been importing before the Tarriff wars and started making it In Camillus NY using cutlers he "imported" from Germany.

Quite the blade on that punch !!! Great video 🙂 , thank you !!

I do like it. I'm not sure if it is any more effective than a plain jane punch but I do like the way it looks.

Could you do a video someday a about the different Frost brand slip joint knives
@KnifeChatswithTobias28 күн бұрын
I can probably show examples of about four or five but I can give a list of several TMs owned by Frost. That could be a fun video. Thanks for the suggestion.
