Great job to both of you on completing the Comino! I would have quit Robb if I had blisters, you really did great on continuing and persevering. I hope your feet are healing. The cathedral is beautiful! It must have been so touching when you arrive! Congratulations!

The good news is my feet healed right up after we stopped walking every day, took less than a week. Next time we will plan more time to rest as needed. And yes, the cathedral is amazing, it is hard to describe all the feelings as you walk in and know you are done. Thanks for keeping up with our journey! 😀

It was so fantastic to meet you two! We are so thankful that you were able to make it to Santiago a day early so that we could finally chat face to face! Whew!!! No blisters, but we feel relieved that you reached the end of The Way. It does sound amazing, and I assume being tired and in agony enhances the euphoric feelings. Good job, we will NOT do that route but we really want to do A route.

We loved the Frances due to the reliable infrastructure, but we are also curious about the Portuguese and the Norte. We've got time to check a few more out! :-) Can't wait to hear what you decide!

Congratulations. Well done. The Camino while a singular experience, is a shared experience. The pilgrims become instruments marching in a common band. Consider the Camino Primitivo in the future

Thank you so much for documenting this! You’ve changed my life because I’m finally going to quit work and going to do a small Camino from Saria to Santiago. I’d love to do the whole one, but I am going to be 71 so I figured I’m not gonna be too rough on myself. Thanks again for inspiring me to push myself to do this so late in my life.

We are honored to be a part of your Camino process! We met MANY pilgrims who were in their 70's, so you will not be alone in your walk. We all have to listen to our bodies and do what we can handle, but the way from Sarria to Santiago is beautiful. Congratulations on your decision and Buen Camino!!! 😀😀😀

@@roxyjanesmom If you are on Facebook, there are lots of Camino groups. I know of one called "Senior Travelers on the Camino" where you could probably find some partners in crime 😁

What a wonderful trip! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. While I will never do it, who knows, maybe someday I will do part of it. If someone ever talks about it, at least I know about it and could refer them to your videos . Great accomplishment!

The beauty of it is that you can walk (or bike, or ride a horse) any distance you choose. We loved doing a longer route, but you could just walk for a day to get a feel of it, without having to walk the whole thing. It just depends on what you want. Spain is lovely and a great place to spend some time. And thank you for following along with our journey! 😀
