It is quite the dilemma! We appreciated the flexibility carrying our bags gave us, but it was obviously physically less demanding to send them ahead. Can't wait to hear what you decide to do 😀

I loved walking through the forest. The drawback for me was I never knew where I would end the day. Regarding the nay-sayers, one phrase that sticks with me is 'everyone does their own Camino'.

Don't pay attention to the critics. Ever. They are everywhere about everything. Love seeing the scenery, the towns and the food. Enjoy!

Is the price per bag limited in distance? Could you send them 100km ahead?

Good question, and I'm not positive on the answer. Just from what I've heard, I don't believe you could send your bag that far ahead, at least not for the daily price. I just don't think these companies have that kind of infrastructure. For our long distance bag we used Express Bouricott from SJPDP to Santiago, which was 70 Euro per bag, but I don't believe they do pick ups along the way. I've heard others talk about using Correos (the post office) to send bags farther along, which has a good reputation from what I've heard, but we didn't look into it.
