1st of all, great to see you!!!! We ate sloppy joes, roast, homemade mac and cheese, meatloaf down home stick to your ribs meals. My dad was the cook after my mom passed. He made us good meals, but homemade things. Manwich, Kraft Mac and Cheese were never served by him in his kitchen. My journey to cooking started when I was 14. I got a weekly allowance for chores done around the house. I went to a little store up the street from our house (equivalent to a 7-11) and I bought a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese for 25 cents. (the good old days, lol) My dad came home and saw me cooking. He looked at my boxed mac and cheese and said "I'm gonna pretend I don't see that." lol he was very do-it-yourself, fresh ingredients, "If you use boxed anything, you ain't really cooking". He has been gone over 20 years now and we still talk about "Daddy in the kitchen." Your food looks good, I will do this. Bye, Miss Camirra!!! Thank you.

You are an amazing cook! However, please try my recipe for sloppy joes. You have the same flavor profile that I like so I know you will love this.😅 Add your bell peppers to it then had one jar of Heinz chili sauce with maybe half as much or so of Hunt's ketchup. Then Howard and splash of apple cider vinegar. Let it simmer about 20 minutes. If you like it more sweet? You can add brown sugar but most people like that vinaigrette taste. Please try it you'll never make them the same way again. Mark my words

Growing up in Iowa, at least once a week in the summer supper was fresh green beans cooked down slow with bacon, sweet corn right from the field that morning, iced tea and living where we did, a town not far was famous for growing watermelons and cantaloupes, so dessert was either of those chilled, served with just a light sprinkle of salt. I came up with a homemade sloppy Joe recipe from my homemade BBQ sauce and my family loves them!❤

Idk why my comment button wasn't working night before last, but I was gonna say; this is upper echelon at it's finest compared to what I used to eat in 4-8th grade in the mid 90s lol. Brioche and toasted, and not so sloppy meat? They should have this restaurants for now on, danggg 😯🤩😋
