I only get a couple hours a day of sunlight on my balcony and for years, I tried to grow different fruits or vegetables or herbs and the two most successful and easiest to grow items turned out to be ginger and turmeric. They were very easy to grow once they got started and had almost 0 insect pests.

Thank you so much for this video. I use some of the ingredients you listed, but yours is on a whole different level. I have tried to do everything in my power, to stay healthy, and keep Covid at bay. Although we’re seniors, my husband, and I live actives lives. And, unfortunately he brought Covid home to me, from the gym. He tested positive in the ER, but he didn’t get sick, however, it kicked my but! I I wasn’t hospitalized, but it sent me to the ER, with a high fever, that lasted 4 days, and a number of doctor visits. Everyone in my family has, had it, some had it twice, but I never did get it, until this past August. I’m just beginning to get back to normal. So yes, I will definitely add this regiment to my daily routine. Thank you so much for sharing this healthy, preventative recipe! 😊

Camirra have you tried coconut milk kefir before? I bet that would taste amazing mixed with this juice. I would also be tempted to add some lemongrass to the juice (which is actually delicious in sweet juices and smoothies!) which is also easy to grow when you propagate from storebought lemongrass, and is antimicrobial. I add my leftover citrus peels and the tough outer lemongrass leaves/stalk pieces to a PLASTIC (very important for there to be no metal parts) drinks dispenser full of white/distilled vinegar and use the infused vinegar for cleaning with, topping up with more vinegar as I add more peels during the week. It smells amazing and is an incredible natural degreaser due to the citrus oils. I love your channel and the way you strike a balance between healthful and flavourful but without lecturing people or being unrealistic.

How much turmeric? 1 cup, 2 cups, etc.. How much pineapple? a whole pineapple? Not sure if this would be ok to do if you take alot of vitamins or even prescription meds... I'm assuming best to check with your doctor first? You can also check the thrift stores in your area or some of the online resale platforms. Work with what you have and start where you are.
