@@FPdesignfab I have watched all available on ut and u did the best. That putty is the way to go. I think u should at least show us a BB gun just to have another example. It would get you more traffic on you channels

Thanks@@gharrett2092 I have a few more samples on my channel and probably have some videos I never posted. I'll try to do more this year. I do have a busted BB gun that could use a new Camo ;)

Masking puddy!! The thing I didn't know I needed. Glad to see that before I dId something else thanks!

It works pretty good. Easy to make patterns, lines r almost as hard edged as masking tape tho. Next time I'll get alot more putty and barely lay it on the surfaces so the edges feather out a bit more.

Best camo, I've seen yet. Keep putting it off b/c I haven't been happy with what I've seen. Until now. Thanks!!

Pretty dope bud, i did a 10.3 commando clonish in 5.56 in those colors but did more of a tiger stripe pattern, i just ripped up maskin tape and made the stripes. Never seen putty used before, pretty cool.

Thanks Tyler. I like the ripped masking tape approach also! I had hoped the putty would give me a softer edge but it didn't. I actually use ripped tape more often but this was a fun experiment.

Thanks man. I thought masking putty would give me softer edges on the lines but it works. It's almost as hard an edge as masking tape.
@mortem-tyrannis2 жыл бұрын
@@FPdesignfab if you want soft lines don't flatten it out leave it kinda rolled that seems to work, try it on something small and tell me if it works if you got time lol. I'm about to do my 300blk ar and this is the best paint job I've seen so far.
@FPdesignfab2 жыл бұрын
@@mortem-tyrannis I tried, the edges are sharp with this putty. Maybe less paint coverage would help, more like a mist. Here's a quick test I did just laying rags over it. Edges are softer like I want but not as easy to get the shapes. The shapes with this method tend to be straight: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hH-xlH2eZdaYq9U
