Whoever makes that camera should send you a gift certificate or something, what a tough device!

I usually don't watch the videos where you're showing equipment, but I chose to watch this one this time because there was a mention of wildlife. I found it extremely interesting. I am 63 years old and I'm mostly home bound and my world is limited to what I see on KZbin. I live in Alaska and I used to love walking the coastal trails, but due to a lack of transportation, limited means of income, and my health I can no longer get out. Also our winter just started. It's been snowing non stop, for almost the last 24°, so I will even be seeing less wildlife from the windows that I have in my place. Thank you for these videos.

Your welcome and yes all of the equipment videos usually have a lot of test bird and wildlife footage in them that is how I test them out with real wildlife. There will be a lot more bird and wildlife videos coming. BB

That's amazing that the camera went through all of that and survived

That's one tough camera for sure! Glad it survived all that. Glad to hear that you guys, your property, and the animals out back didn't have too much trouble with Hurricane Ian!

It's absolutely amazing that the camera did so well!!! Geez!! I wouldn't have guessed that. That's REALLY 😎 cool

Which solar panel are you using. I’m sure is great and I would love to order the same.

Another wonderful upload, in particular referring to the camera. To stand up to what the camera suffered during the storm, to survive, and after drying out and reassembly, to still function is testament to it. The camera possibly experienced more than most cameras do in their usable life. I think this video has made my mind up about purchase. Thank you for another great story about both animals and the TC06. Thank you for sharing this with us. Phil🇬🇧

One comment about the aluminum mount - I had one with a steel bolt mount, and it got bumped hard, which broke the 1/4 x 20 camera insert in the base of the camera. I repaired it with JB Weld, but I would have rather had the bolt break, rather than the camera mount insert. Keep up the great work! I am looking forward to visiting my woods camera, which is still inaccessible due to Hurricane Ian flooding. - Gus (Brevard County, FL)

Great content. I got those outer bands too. Had some tree limbs down and roads were flooded but nothing like the opposite coast.

Based on your experience, I just ordered me one of these cams. As I have plenty of almost inexhaustible sources of power in my back yard to the cam, I opted for this one over the TC07, with the solar panel, especially as you mentioned the lousy performance of the 07 microphone.
@MyBackyardBirding2 жыл бұрын
Good choice, I love the sound from the TC06 for just the reason in this video. So many trail cams have poor sound which may not matter in a lot of applications, but I want to get the close up drama and that needs sound. BB

Lol glad to see you and your animal friends doing well through the storm. As always I’m happy to see my favorites the marsh rabbits, but then they are in their element: water 💦

It's too bad you were not able to trap the male cat, but it is good to see that he is doing better.

We survived Ian with minor damage,under $10k,, we have many friends who lost everything,everything.-- a few lost their lives-- this area will never be the same.and there will be more hurricanes in the future. we feel guilty we came out as we did, when so many have suffered horribly. we are just 8-10 miles away from the worst hit areas--in fact we never lost power throughout the 10+ hour cat 5 storm--Please help financially if you are able-Thank You-- Samaritan's Purse is a wonderful org. that is here helping from day 1

The point of failure point on clam shells style trail cams is that charging port. put a healthy dose of dielectric grease on it and smear some dielectric grease around the edge of the seal of the clamshell gasket and eliminates this issue Unfortunately that charging port is a point of of weakness when it comes down to water you weren't having a panel plugged into it is bad idea and extreme moisture prone areas
@MyBackyardBirding Жыл бұрын
It was plugged in to a solar panel, but yes this camera was totally underwater so it will find a way in. Had another one in a flash flood up in the smokies. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKG5m6Rsa9iCbbM BB

Is this video supposed to be funny? I notice it's a certain demographic that believe a meal date equals sex. This is actually quite sad.
