Campervan low power kettles

Today I experiment running some cheap low powered electric kettles off Amazon on the Ecoflow River 2 Pro. #solar #camping #kettle

I find a low flame while cooking or boiling water and those little gas cannister's last me from five days to a week. I think turned up High, too much heat goes around and up the sides of pot rather than heating from the bottom, I also turn the gas off immediately when water starts to boil or a little time beforehand (I'm only talking of around 15 seconds) as every little helps over a week. I have around 200 of those gas cannisters, I bought them in bulk online and local too in bulk for £1.25p a cannister, Picking them up in bulk at the right time can save 100's of £'s; they should last me a while. That little 600watt kettle would work great though during summer 👍

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I bought a load of the gas canisters a while back on ebay for about £1 each. They have gone up significantly on there since. Been buying them in bulk from Home Bargains at for £3.99 for 4 but recently they went upto £4.50 for 4. Still cheap though when compared to some outdoor shops who sell them for £3.49 each 😯 The little 600W folding has been working fantastic. Great use of the excess solar. The last 3 trips I've been on I only used the stove once to cook burgers and used the electric kettle and a small air fryer for everything else. Atb Dave

@@playing_in_trafic It was actually home bargains where I got my Last 24 tins, 4 for £5.00. The way I see it, the way things are going, that's a reasonable price. I wouldn't want to get caught out by price hikes and have to pay £3.49 or more, that's for sure. Excess solar, sounds great to me, I've had solar for over 4 rears, just never fitted it to my van. I plan on selling my van soon as I got a tiny foldup (their smallest make) Esterel caravan; 9x5x6' High. I plan on getting another van...a Vivaro/Renult at some point in the future though. Air fryers are great, we hardly ever use our oven in the house anymore.
