For the life of me I don’t understand why grown adults feel the need to hassle someone over their life choices. I don’t have the time or energy to do so and my mama taught me if you can’t say something nice then just keep your mouth shut! Kevin you are kind and I think you did the right thing adopting Dexter. He’s adorable and it’s clear he’s bonding with you. We can’t adopt all the animals in the world and we can’t save them all; but we can save one at a time when we have the time, money and space to do so.

I love the livestreams but I don't always catch them while they're live. It's wonderful that all of you have welcomed Dexter in so warmly and that he feels so secure with you. Live streams almost invariably are too long. One channel I follow has live streams that can be THREE HOURS LONG. Who has time to watch anything of that length? Question/answer format is a great compromise...

I had rather watch 3 or 4 different 12 to 18 minutes videos then get back to my life. I've watched CVK for a good while now and he seems to be a very savvy individual and often quite a philosopher!

I don’t mind long livestreams. I can’t listen while doing yard work or housework because it’s usually not a lot of visuals. And there’s always the option, if watching on the replay, to listen speeded up. 1.5 speed works well.

Great question and answer episode Kevin! My little Yorkie Aubrie sadly I had to put to sleep. She suffered from that collapsing trachea, which there was meds to calm the coughing way down, but then I bit the bullet and had the vet take some X-rays, sadly she also had a tumor starting to press on the trachea. She made it 15 years. She looked like Tucker. I decided to adopt 2 rescues 6 months apart. Im happy about them, a lot more work, but very healthy but I’ll always be missing my baby . Don’t let negative comments get you down! You just keep doing you, and realize you’ve got some very devoted fans that think of you almost like family. God bless you for all the work you put into sharing your journey with us! By the way goggles are great, also they sell little visor caps! It’s a treat to see Dexter now!!😍

I enjoyed this time with you and dexter Kevin. I’m not fond of the live streams and pretty much avoid them. You’re a smart man, you have a level head and a good heart. Love the four Yorkies…have two of our own and are well aware of their charm. We love all dogs and kitty cats…we have a daughter who rescues all kinds of animals that they can support. Having one single breed dosent mean you don’t love and appreciate others too. Shouldn’t be rocket science to people that the small dogs are just easier to handle and travel with. I love your channel, I know I will always see something interesting, entertaining, holsome and kind. This was a nice format Kevin. You do you. I’ll never tell you how to run your channel. I’m amazed but not surprised others do. I just had a tattoo story affect my world. I have none and view them much like you do. But as a rookie artist I enjoy seeing them and hearing their stories. My 2 yo grandson had a bad reaction to a virus and ended up in isolation for 7days that attacked his blood. His platelets were scary low. He had bruising all over his body. Never seen it before. We had to keep him calm because he didn’t have the ability to clot like he should so we were dealing with both external and internal bleeding. Did I say he’s 2??? 😬 Not an easy task. He wanted DOWN!! We were trying EVERYTHING to keep him entertained. A male nurse came in and he had a tattooed sleeve so I asked him to show Bo his tattoos and tell us the story. I was so glad I did. They were puzzle pieces in progress of completing a puzzle. He said his grandma had died that was special in his life and they spent hours putting puzzles together growing up. Isn’t that cool? He was very kind to Bo even when they had to poke and prod him again. I was very grateful for him at that moment. They were all very kind except one and I think she just had a bad day or just wasn’t a people person. Guess who picked up on that first? Kids are very perceptive 😂. Bo’s doing well but has to be monitored and apparently this could happen again as viruses come and go.🤷🏼‍♀️ 🙏🏻 Last thing. I’ve waded into the Carnivore diet.It got interrupted due to Bo being in the hospital but I’m going again. Expecting great things. 😊 Thanks for your influencing that decision. 😉

It's incredible to me how folks can shame others for not "rescuing" a shelter dog or one that is given up. Of course these dogs need homes and it's great to provide that if you can and are willing. But some prefer specific breeds for different reasons and should not be ridiculed for that.

However, my wife and i choose smaller dogs for our family necause of our age and current physical condition. I love the Yorkies but we have not has an opportunity to adopt one. We currently have a Jack Russell-Corgie cross and a Chihuahua mix. They get alomg very well together and make us happy as well.

Trolls comments tell me so much more about them than they do about the content creator they’re trying to bend over a barrel. I think that KZbinr made the right choice, I have a dog that is a senior, he will be 9 next month, for 9 years he has been a grumpy, cranky old man, and I watched him come into this world. We have loved him, and cuddle him, and but him his favorite treats and dog food. It’s not from lack of trying, he’s just pissed off all the time. Today for example he went after my son’s 6 week old puppy, without warning! Gratefully I was 1 second faster than him and scooped he puppy up, and all I can think is, “what could I have done differently for this animal” we always have had a house full of dogs and this is the only one that makes me cry from the stress of owning him. Before anyone goes after me about the puppy, he was sired by my sons pit bull (who is my sweetest most babiest doggie in the whole world) at 4 weeks, the motherly instinct just turned off for the mama dog, a Bull Terrier. There were 7 perfectly healthy babies that were born in my living room as we were dog sitting her due to a death in the family of her owner, she went into labor almost a full week early and they were born on NYE. The vet said that some mama’s just are over it, especially if her babies are big, which these grew really fast. So anyway Teddy is the cutest little guy that has done very well with weening, and he’s thriving. Oh, that mean old grumpy dog is my profile picture lol, that was trick photography 😂
