This vlog today really touched my heart. The Head Monk is to be commended for devoting his life to the children in his care. Is there any way to contribute to this monastery or is that not possible? Kara, I can certainly relate to your becoming emotional observing the goodness of some people who willingly sacrifice so much to benefit others in need. What an uplifting and positive program. Thank you so much for giving me this touching experience to stop and ponder on the goodness of people and how they impact all of us to be a little kinder to those in need. Throughout your journey you have shown people all over the world improving the lives of others around them in different ways. This uplifting and positive theme runs throughout your vlogs. Thanks for brightening our lives in so many ways!

@@lorenacharlotte8383 Why are you commenting so much negativity on this video? I have been following Kara and Nate for years and they are so loved by their viewers because of their authenticity, humility, and ability to take any situation and find the beauty and humor in it. Of course they have practiced making high-quality videos that they profit off of as well as other things, how else would they be able to afford full time travel? I encourage you to visit their website to see their blog and income reports. They are very transparent about how they earn an income. In fact, they talk a lot about how they do not wish to rely on KZbin for money because it is so unstable. They work so hard to be able to live their dream and it inspires so many.
@lorenacharlotte83835 жыл бұрын
Danielle Starmer : That is the point. Agree with you as far as they good making of the videos but disagree with all the rest of your saying. I was subscribed to their channel till yesterday. They never acknowledge me as a subscriber. In fact they never gave a dam. The only time I’ve heard a kind of feedback was just yesterday when I announced my leaving and the feedback was a hand not sure if saying goodbye or something else. Any of my comments ever had any feedback. So my conclusion is that this channel is like seeing a nice commercial traveling advertising but nothing else as it’s all part of the acting, presenting a nice video. So this kind of channels are like a whole ads on video that people are willing to watch as the videos are generally well made and pleasant.

I feel like one of your more recent vidoes mentioned this was one of your lowest viewed videos and honestly, I have no idea why. It seemed like such a special video and really made me feel like i was there with you. Really enjoyed it, your openness to new cultures/religions, and learning from the monks!

7:51 OMG! That's Carrum! My dad and I play that a ton. Just wanted to add, Kara and Nate are truly an aspiration in person. Without them, my inquiries about the entire world would be completely perished... Just a HUGE thank you to them. You dearly brighten my day, and make my life happier. Thank you so much. Please, don't ever quit this "Job". You guys are pretty great at it. :)

The Head Monk is such an amazing person, the smile on his face is everything. Thank you Kara and Nate bring your experiences to us.
The little kids running down the path, singing, is the best image of happiness!

Kara has such a mothers heart. Ive always wondered if when you guys get done traveling and want to settle down somewhere if you would ever adopt a child from a country you visited. Knowing the background of where they have been living and the environments they have been put through. To give them a better life would you adopt?

You know Bhutan have the highest happiness index in the world, and trust me this video shows why. The kids live such a simple life and still so happy and we just keep complaining. This video even made me cry a bit. ❤
