Great campsite. Alabama Hills have been on my list for a while. I need to make it a priority to get down there. Can't wait to see the next video. Cheers 🍻

It really is an amazing place. Get there early in the afternoon to get a spot!

Another fantastic camp spot. The only thing that would make the view better would be the Jeep being Green, but you were close enough... 🤣 Thanks for sharing this!

Hah! I will tell my husband about the green, not sure he'll agree though. :D

I love this so much, what a great spot. Definitely on my to see/camp spot. That cutting board is sweet! Can't wait to see what's next!

I got that cutting board at the HomeGoods store (part of TJ Maxx). I feel more outdoorsy with it. :D You definitely need to check out the Alabama Hills for sure!

Those big rocks surrounded by sand remind me of the film 'tremors', Especially the scene where they pole vault from rock to rock. Exceptional landscape, very alien to myself.

I just did a quick search on that movie, and Tremors was INDEED filmed in the Alabama Hills and other spots in the Eastern Sierra. There is a Film Museum in the nearby town of Lone Pine because SO MANY films have used the Alabama Hills for a shooting location.

Looks very peaceful! You’re brave camping in the desert!

I don't really consider camping in the Alabama Hills that brave of a thing to do. It's really not far from the town of Lone Pine (less than 10 miles), and as isolated as it may have seemed that we were, you're really not. We also had a little bit of cell signal.

Can you share the coordinates please!

Ok - I’ll give you the coordinates but as a thank you please subscribe 😉. 36.6098866,-118.1221046 Also, just know that they often close camp spots at the Alabama Hills. So this may or may not be open for camping anymore. And if it is, it’s a popular spot!

You lucked out with that camp spot - beautiful. What an awesome setup too. Looks so fun! I have to admit to annoys me seeing lots of people out at places I once thought were a bit more private/secluded as well. In a way I’m kind of glad the BLM is cracking down on where you can camp because I think it helps to prevent damage to those spots, as well as with the vegetation rehab like you mentioned.

Definitely. It's important to preserve the sanctity for many, many future generations. Besides, there are PLENTY of other camping locations around the Lone Pine and Eastern Sierra to be had. And YES! We did certainly luck out with an amazing spot! Kinda sad it was only one night.
