I’m reviewing it at the moment mate, they sent me a demo Anderson plug they made that connects to the solar inputs. Il let ya know how it goes. But yes we need Anderson outputs for fridges etc 😎👍🏼

I did watch your video on the same unit and noticed you had a cable. I didn’t want to mention it in my video because they hadn’t told me about it or sent me one so I wasn’t sure what the go was with it. Have a good Christmas mate. Where are you based as well? Thinking we could head out on a few trips together if your up for it.

Hit the nail on the head regarding the Anderson plugs mate ,nice review

Glad you enjoyed. They are working on a cable adaptor for charging via Anderson plug but it’s still limited to 10amps. They need the ability to charge fast from a car and run stuff via Anderson
@AndyTom9999 Жыл бұрын
Agree about the need for an Anderson plug. None of these types of systems have one (Bluetti etc). Apart from the advantage of faster charging from the car, my 12 volt travel oven uses 11 amps and cigarette plugs are 10 amp max so it's a deal breaker for me.

I know it's not the intention of these 4x4 channels to keep people at home...some people are stupid and think they need all the bling to actually go out and enjoy...I miss the old days with just the basics....great video and review personally all this tech is taking away what camping is all about.
@Australian4x4Adventures Жыл бұрын
I understand what you are saying and to some degree I agree with you. And it seems like you probably have the same opinion of “ it is what it is and ppl can camp how ever they like “. The marketing company’s are doing a great job at convincing ppl they need all this stuff in there setups.

Yes, I never understood why all these power stations do not have a high current 12v anderson charging input, literally I have not seen one brand out there (unless someone can point me to one) right now that offers this.
@Australian4x4Adventures11 ай бұрын
Jackery are playing with duel input charging which gives you 200w ( 20 amps ) of charge via 2 cig points. But that requires you to have to points with their own wiring to make sure it keeps up. I’ve mentioned to them about the Anderson plugs and how Aussies love them so it’s a requirement. And they have taken it onboard and working on it apparently

Great vidoe mate. Only issue with them is car charging is way to low. And no andson plugs for fridges and travel buddy but glade you told them this,But what i like with blue yeti is expandable battery system and this as well make it worth it as i think its cheaper compared to enerdrive as i built a portable set up like this with just 1 btec 200 and 2000w inverter and redarc 40 dcdc and that was 4500 plus 200 for a tred cargo box to mount it in.
@bushmagpie3312 Жыл бұрын
Hi, if you buy a Victron 12/48 converter, you can plug into Anderson plug car and 48Vdc into solar input, it fast charges. Most of these power bricks you can trick them doing same thing with 12/48 inverter.
@cyclemoto87446 ай бұрын
An all in one unit would be great but the cost is astronomical. I think I'll stick to DIY. Current example being 314AH Eve automotive grade cells, 2000w inverter, 250ah Muller Energy BMS, Victron 20amp mppt, Victron 30A 240v charger + sundries comes to approx $1900 and results in more than twice the capacity and cycle life. I do appreciate the review Steve but in my opinon these types of units are only good for those who have the cash to blow or not competent with the DIY approach which isn't my case. Cheers. ps: You still get a thumbs up

Seems like every other battery actual system with expansions and what not on the market. Not many of these systems seems to have a big difference in what they do except the price really. Probably still better off with an advocate system with lithium batteries and faster chargers and building the system to your budget
