1st time watcher. Great idea with the blue tarp. Sadly it stops there. 1st why wouldn't u tie the tarp high enough to stand under? 2nd it looks like u have been doing this long enough to know TRY IT AT HOME . U clearly cant sleep like that. 3rd for less than $20 can get a hammock WITH a bug net that fits u. No need for an airmat and ur off the ground. Better luck next time. Thanks for the laugh

First off, Love the videos. I do think this was the exact same meal as your last one. I know one thing I enjoy is a variety of different camp meals that are fun but easy. Steve Wallis style. You might have a limited palate so no worries if that’s the case. Enjoy the camping in the rain videos however. Thanks for the content as always!

Dude you are the fire master! In the RAIN! Thank you for this video. I had a really bad day. This might sound really dumb but I was wondering if it was possible that someone could come up with a total metal umbrella to put over a fire when it's raining. You definitely wouldn't need one.🙂 The metal umbrella would have a spike to put in the ground.

Yeah you'd be surprised I think how easy to it is to do a fire in light rain. Just have to be patient and start small and keep stacking small stuff until it all catches 👍

I can loose but I have to have gastrointestinal surgery to get rid of a few things in me and I will be able to get back to my original size. I was always skinny until I got seriously sick with covid that messed my insides up several years ago. It almost killed me. Damn near died. Then Sam Bananas comes along with his stealth camping and gave me hope. Thank you, Sam, for inspiration. I will be skinny again. Then I can go camping.

Finally a rain video ! , you should really start using some permethrin for your clothing and gear, ticks and spiders love to lay under leaves and debris, maybe try some other things like a Dakota fire pit (learn/teach mode) , teach some “how to” stuff like knife sharpening, or personal hygiene (people know how to poop in the woods , just don’t know how important it is to clean yourself 🧼🧽🫧🛀🧻 as always take care of yourself, I am groot saying good night 💤

Hey Sam, wondering if that bug net thing may be better staked out but your sleeping pad underneath it to give you a little more room? I have a DD Travel hammock, which is waterproof and it can transform into a bivvy for ground use. And it has 2 layers that you can slide a pad into like a big pocket. Built in bug net too. The travel hammock is like the frontline hammock but waterproof. Recommend it

Hey , some of the best shelters can be made with a tarp , I take 4 camo tarps with me anywhere I camp all of different sizes all fold flat & back in my pack they go . I actually can make a totally inclosed shelter with 2 tarps for 2 people with a vent at the top so you can have a small long fire inside in the late fall & winter it also keeps rain & snow out too , you,ll sleep good & warm with that one , I’ve did it many many times since I was 12 years old & in boy scouts , now I,m 51 , so that tells you about how many years I’ve known about my configurations on tarps .

Do they have bigger screens than that because it looked a bit tight in there? The concept is good but if I was outside a tent I would prefer a high quality bivvy. Nice video though. I like the way you show the mistakes like breaking the lens filter, it makes it more real life because shit happens. Like you admit when you forgot stuff coz we all forget something.

You really really really need to put some Appleton Estate Rum from the Nassau Valley, Siloah District, in Jamaica into the ole banana flask. Pepper spray normally. I don't carry a firearm for several reasons but mostly because I'm drinking. When I go in bear territory I take bear spray. Works great on two legged animals as well 😉
