Something I learned from my dad growing up in SE Alaska, where it rains even more than the Olympic peninsula. Use road flares (AKA railroad flairs) to start your fire when everything is wet or frozen. Thanks for sharing my friend 🤠

Having been camping and having children in all weather, the wet footwear was a pain n the bottom! If you use two long ISH sticks in the ground and turn your boot wellies trainers upside down and hang them over the sticks. The air get's to them and helps dry them and stops some creepy crawlies going into them. im glad someone shared that with me it saved lots of wet boots. :)

Great camp Sam! I just found the real Huy Fong Sriracha sauce, in bottles, at the supermarket AGAIN! I tried others but they were not the same. It has been off the shelf for quite awhile. Sriracha sauce eaters unite!

Oh Sam, I forget when we last saw you dry!!! Maybe carry 2 or 4 small rocks/pebbles with you and heat them up in the fire to drop in your boots to dry out a bit over night??
