I recommend always taking the lids and slides off the cassette before raising the blue cover on the dump point. Otherwise, sooner or later, one or more of the cassette bits will end up in the dump point. No matter how many time I explained this to my wife, she knew better. Last weekend we lost the slide off the cassette. I think she finally agrees.

As they say, it’s a game changer. So convenient and allows you to go anywhere. A lot of Hipcamps and even the camps on the Ningaloo in WA, you have to be self contained.

That's exciting Geoff. We didn't plan to buy our van 8 years ago, we just went for a sticky beak at Raymond Terrace JB Caravans, as we were heading to Hawks Nest with our tent for the weekend, and 3 year old Mildred was a trade-in sitting at the very back of the lot. We feel in love instantly @@geoffstein3896 and did what we could to buy her. We'd always imagined upgrading to a camper but I believe things happen for a reason and I'm happy to say that we still pinch ourselves that we have our little offroad caravan with ensuite. Haha fair enough. I actually made the video for my friends who weren’t considering using their cassette toilet but now they are very grateful to have one and can camp more comfortably remotely. 😊

Well I’m sure you have eased their concerns. I can’t possibly think why my husband was so keen on a composting loo when we ordered our new van 🤔, I never had a problem.

@@lisabaker9777 considering Zone only supply composting loos, I suppose you had no choice anyway. We’ve got an older van (over 10 years) and there are many 2nd hand vans now being sold, so cassettes are going to be around for a while. I’m sure we will eventually end up with a composting loo but in the meantime we’ve been able to last quite a while. Ladies loo paper is the secret, make a ceremony of it at the camp fire - those Coles paper bags are very timely. 🤪
