Don’t cook inside your tent you might wake up with a bear licking your face I know someone it happened to he woke up screamed the bear roughed him up a little left him with stitches him and the bear ran in opposite directions cook away from your tent wash your hands and face keep your food in a sack hoist it up in a tree about 15 feet

I was fortunate enough to grow up with woods and a creek in my backyard. For a moment, I thought they were my woods, but then I remembered that you live nowhere near northern Illinois where I grew up. I camped in those woods more times than I could possibly count. Not fifty yards from my own back door, and I might as well been on another planet. Thanks for the blast of nostalgia my friend.

This was a somewhat dangerous trek into the wilderness. That was a nasty wound from processing wood. Looked like it needed sutures. What is with all the trees down? Was there a storm? At least there will be an abundance of firewood for the future. Take care.

I know you show what beers you bring along and taste. I would really like to know what you have in your pipe. I don't see many people using pipes anymore, mostly cigars.
