Like petroleum jelly, cotton swabs, when it's sunny outside use eyes glasses and have it pointed at the sun, the sun rays will heat it up. What else 🤔 Men's body spray, alcohol drink. You can fart and creat a gas fire😂🔥.

One of the things I really like about you is your authenticity and your obvious enjoyment of camping and doing these videos. I live in Southern California where it takes a couple of hours to get into the mountains and then I have to contend with all the other campers. Been there, done that. And yeah it can be very frustrating when these things happen. There's been more than a few times I had to cold camp it because I could not get a fire started. Luckily not survival situations but definitely miserable conditions. You adapt, live and learn. Not every day can be the perfect day. BTW, good choice on your menu options. Over the years I have found out that there isn't anything that you can cook at home that you can't do out in the woods. All it takes is some ingenuity. I once did stir-fry out in the woods using foraged ingredients. Don't ask. All I brought in was my wok, a small vial of oil, a small bottle of hot sauce. You need hot sauce! and a few packets of soy sauce from the local take out. Eatin' was good! i wish you the best my friend. You are doing good so far. Keep this up and you will hit 100k in no time.

Been a while since I've been up that way. There really is no shortage of sand from there north along Lake Michigan. A mind-blowing amount of sand. Dig out the knots on a dead birch - where the branches were - it's like a wad of sappy dead bark material and you just chop it up really well. If it's good it'll light when it's damp even.

Sam love the episode as always! There's a recipe I'm wondering if you'd be willing to try? It's called "Campfire Donuts"! What you do is get some of those refrigerated Pilsbury biscuits, cut a whole in the middle of the raw dough, then fry them in some oil in a pan over the camp fire and when they're nice and golden brown coat them in a mix of cinnamon & brown sugar! I have not tried it yet but have seen a few YT camping channels do it and they all say it is the absolutely BOMB. :P

Nice rainy windy video., good dog story. Our 2 dogs got old and past, one about 4 years ago and the other one this summer., we got a nice dog door still and fenced in back yard. Waiting for one to come along that needs a good home., stay dry sir.,

Another thought/idea I had if you're interested is, perhaps you could talk about where you learned all these different knots and give a little tutorial on how to actually do some of your most used/favorites? Maybe you did that in another video not sure, just thought of it as something that would be cool to see learn from ya. I know people can look em up online but you talk about them a lot in your vids so I would love to learn directly from you if you're willing to teach! I feel like you must've been a boyscout or something? :)
