That's lovely of you to give back to the community. PASSENGER has so many items that are of interest. I would be most appreciated for a voucher to give my mum & dad a present. They would love the knitwear. Bit of a rough couple of years, long story but met the wrong woman to say the least. Such great progress today. Moving the girls was a great idea. We built a Hoop Coop style chicklen run.. basically 8 star pickets.. arches made with 2 inch poly pipe slid over each of 4 posts 12 feet apart to make the tunnel. Then covered over with bird wire .. door in front.. nesting boxes at the back. Covered the nest box end with heavy duty tarp to keep it dry. Our 6 girls have plenty of space and have lived there three years now.

I love watching video blog and seeing the challenges your are facing. It's very inspiring. I'm often outside in my garden wrapped up in multiple layers and two hats to try and keep warm so if I won a voucher I would spent it on a warm outside jacket, fleece and a hat so I can stay outside for longer.

So sorry for your chicken loss. Love the new chicken coop. I’ve had chickens for many moons. I have fox, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, possums and dogs that like to hassle my chickens. When I moved to my current ranch, I built my new coop with 100% recycled wood and other materials. I only bought the screws. It’s my favorite project to date and looks really beautiful. My chickens have been safe for 10 years … until a couple weeks ago when I forgot to lock them in one night. I lost 3 of my 6 hens. It’s heartbreaking. 💔 Love to you both!

Hi Guys! Please don’t use your feet to knock things into place. I did this for years and now I have painful arthritis in my toes of both feet. There is no permanent fix for this , it’s part of my feet now. Use a rubber mallet or similar instead. Really enjoy your vids. 😀-Eric.

Save the shells from your eggs and grind them up to feed back to the chickens and any wild bird. The shell grit is needed for digestion. Good use of what many think of as waste!

It may be a good idea to hammer some tent pegs to help ensure any attacks from the foxes to dig under the fence is avoided. Your doing a great job both of you and the dog.

Covering the chicken coop is also a very good move to avoid bird flu in spring and fall, caused by migrating birds that might land in the coop to forage on the chicken food. And in summer, you can cover part of the chicken coop to profide the needed shadow
