@@MrSilver708 Housing is much cheaper than BC that is for sure, especially if you are retired and are looking for a smaller home. Penhold is a decent place. Small, but a lot safer than most communities. It is still close enough to bigger communities to offer services and outings. Houses are generally $350K to $400K range for a decent one.

Camrose has it's share of crime but nothing like Wetaskiwin. Mirror Lake is nice to walk around.

Yes, I heard people that live in Wetaskiwin drive to Camrose to shop for groceries and such to avoid the crime.
