I presume you realize that two different people can be diagnosed with the same disease and have different outcomes because *they are two different people.* You are not taking into account your respective weight, age, diet, lifestyle, the severity of the primary disease, other conditions related or unrelated to diabetes. Also, if your case is mild and you are exercising and having a healthy diet, you may be controlling your diabetes - but also, type 2 can be asymptomatic. You may be feeling great, until the day you don't. You are playing a dangerous game by not being tested. Your sugar can be OK or can be on the rooftops; not knowing is not equal to being healthy. You still could get a retinopathy, foot or kidney problems. The situation is worsened by your refusal to have regular health controls or treatments. You are just like a 19th century person, navigating through life until a (now preventable) disease, a (now treatable) infection, or a (now manageable) chronic condition gets you. Your friend went to the doctor and died; you should have asked why, exactly, because you are making a causation from a false correlation: guess what, people who saw a doctor and died, *died from the disease they had, not from having seen a doctor.* The vast majority of people who cannot go to the doctor die swiftly from the diseases they get, often in childhood. This isn't even science, is history. Read biographies and novels written until early 20th century: people dying or being left with sequels due to diseases now easily treatable were the norm. Currently, people who refused to get vaccinated die from Covid, people who refuse to vaccinate their kids have them dying from meningitis, measles complications or difteria - just like in 19th century. I highly recommend you the channels Be Smart, SciShow and Crash Course, specifically the History of Science course. Please, don't die, go blind, lose a foot or be tied to a dialysis machine out of ignorance (assuming you survive kidney disease long enough to be diagnosed and tied to the machine).

@1LaOriental I found your comment interesting so based on your statement I did a quick search on the longevity of holocaust survivors. The article I found said holocaust survivors lived an average of 7 years longer than Israeli Jews who did not go through such horrors. Basically the article attributed their longevity to their learned resilience to the horrors of their situation. But I think the starvation they went through certainly did something beneficial for them Of course I am not suggesting that the holocaust was in anyway a good thing but it appears that calorie restriction is healthy as you said. In any case the living 7 years longer was a fact and maybe in a way it made up somewhat for the years that were stolen from them during their imprisonment. I hope so. The article also said the survivors were more prone to stress related diseases than their Israeli counterparts. Still, very interesting.

My grandmother felt insulted and ran a way to her parents home , Telling her mother this man didn’t touch me and if he is looking for a maid , that Is not me, when my grandfather came home he was shocked and he went to her parents home, Her mother asked about the reason ,He said I wanted to give her few years to grow up, Sh told him the girl is ready , either you treat her like a wife or let her come home. The man felt very insulted, He took her home and decided to spend more time with her, The Turkish empire drafted him to be a logger to make coal for the Turkish train fighting in War world one and he hated them For taking him a way from his wife,

Metformin was originally developed from a French lilac compound that was showing pharmacological properties. About 50% of drugs are developed this way. You can’t patten a natural product, but you can patten an unnatural one. Therefore, take a plant based compound in nature and see if you can tweak it. The vast majority of the time the plant compound is either unsynthesizeable or any resultant compounds are either too toxic or lack any useable pharmacological properties. However occasionally, they get lucky, but usually the compound is more toxic than its natural counterpart. In Metformin and Warfarin’s case, they got super lucky. (Warfarin is a cinnamon based compound. Wereas, the natural based version is actually quite toxic, Warfarin is much less toxic and still potent in its effects).

Ever since the practice of medicine changed from taking care of the whole body to a hundred different specialties treating different body parts, the entire system has suffered. The problem with doing that is things get missed if the wrong specialist is seen. It never made a lot of sense to me because body parts don’t operate independently of one another. This is why the primary care physician must be exceptionally brilliant cause he/she is the real diagnostician who must have a darn good idea what the problem is so the right specialist is chosen.

But most of my life I have smoked heavy, and abused drugs and alcohol to excess, the fact that I’m still alive, or at least not severely impaired( physically), I put down to Eating a supremely healthy wholehood diet, I doubt very much if a few of my major Internal organs would have been strong enough if I hadn’t, although after going Vegan I did really get into the health kick as my energy levels suddenly went through the roof. After a few months I would think nothing of cycling 20 miles with 60 pound of leaflets and or food on my back. Which is probably why I now have Knee and back problems as I over did it, my joints couldn’t take the excessive regular strain my hightened energy levels gave me!.

The theory is that because short people have much lower growth hormones they live longer because they are less likely to get cancer, diabetes, and heart disease caused by growth hormone, IGF1. Short people tend to age slower and look younger for their age also. There is some benefit to being short.

It's just amazing how the Vedas predicted that humans will be as short as a thumb 425,000 years from now. Watching this vlog about shorter and smaller beings having longer lives says something about what's going to happen to the future generations, and how genetic and DNA manipulation will happen.
@ronaldgarrison84785 жыл бұрын
There seems to be a big paradox. Larger animals tend to live longer than smaller ones, all along the scale from fruit flies to whales. But within a species, the dwarf versions tend to live longer. That seems puzzling, especially since the dwarfs should need to have a slightly faster metabolism.

It's in biology and chemistry in the case of aging.. I pointed out before when Clinton said , DNA map was nothing significant . Not important enough . He is not an expert on genitics or the DNA mapping experiment. In the DNA map we find we have a map of the aging cycle . The question is , is anyone looking for it ? A biological one year cycle of bio/chem that fuels the aging cycle per year..we reverse the bio/ chem we reverse aging each year ... We grow older each year . We can grow younger each year .. the rest is b.s. psychology..

New study which came out at May 2021 unfortunately show that we have greatly underestimated the complexity of the aging process. On multiple studies we showed that aging control is constrained by biological factors and that it is subject to too many random processes for us to be able to control it. The only hope would be very advanced biological technology like nano robots where we can simultaneously control multiple variables. I certainly wish this for myself to that we can do it. Still, I need to warn you that the media is often not informed about the true status of the knowledge we have and the complexity of the topic.

Fasting equals higher probability of increased Healthspan.
@Lionforaday5 жыл бұрын
That's true. Of course, just a few years ago, everyone was advocating for eating small meals every 2-3 hours, "to stabilize blood sugar levels." It sounded reasonable - but now it appears that the science was wrong. We know so little about anything! I learned nothing about nutrition in med school, which was just as well, since it all would now have been proved wrong. And who knows - 10 years from now we may learn that intermittent fasting isn't good for us, either. But for now, the science seems to suggest it's a better way to eat, so I guess that's what we have to go with for now.
@spinynorman43825 жыл бұрын
@@Lionforaday What was the reason you learned nothing about nutrition in med school?
@Lionforaday5 жыл бұрын
@@spinynorman4382 It simply wasn't taught. I believe there's realky very little known about food and diet, scientifically speaking, probably because many studies are done with the intention of proving efficacy for a drug. Also, western medicine still focuses more on treatment rather than prevention of illness. I recall reading a valid study done in Iraq that showed that people with multiple plantar warts were uniformly deficient in zinc. It made sense to me since zinc is essential for immune functioning - the hypothesis was an intriguin one; that with sub-optimal zinc levels, patients were unable to clear the wart virus on their own. It was a simple but profound study - when given zinc, all the zinc-deficient patients with plantsr warts saw clearance of their warts. I worked at a large university in the student health clinic and i suggested we replicate the study since we saw so many students with warts. There was no interest. I was told that the doctors liked that they got paid for burning them off! I would also imagine that this might have had implications for HPV and cervical cancer since that too is associated with a wart virus. I wondered if women low in zinc were more susceptible, not to contracting the virus, but to clearing it on their own? With a vaccine on the market, however, you can imagine that there might be resistance to that sort of research. I used to think the concept of "big pharma" was conspiracy theory. Now, I'm not so sure.

Ours (Valery Chuprin and Dr. Mihajlovic) studies of aging show that aging has physical mechanisms. The aging of the body can be stopped and young structures and functions can be returned to the old body. The body has powerful repair mechanisms for this. Nobody helps them, does not stimulate their activity, because of this the body dies. We are ready to submit it for consideration. -
