With too much power and drag radials or slicks anything without a purpose built or reinforced chassis will damage the cars body. In the late 80's early 90's I had a friend with a mid 70's 455 nitrous (lots of nitrous) Trans Am street race car. He loved to beat up on motorcycles on the highway and would run road racing slicks on the back of the car, the car would occasionally break the windshield under acceleration and it had bent a quarter panel, and these cars are a unibody with the front subframe. Also had a friend with a Fox Body Mustang with a 347 and nitrous, that car bent the passenger side quarter panel at the strip with slicks, even though it had subframe connectors. .

Thanks for the tips my friend I'm working on the GTO the 66 put new suspension on it have the new chassis Heaven boxed it in got a Ford 9-inch in it 373 gears 31 spine run a new fuel line and brake lines before I said the body on the new chassis thanks for the Bible study thanks for the suspension tips
