Though, I feel like they kinda have the system a bit backwards. I don't know if the punishment for taking a hint should be more severe than just getting it wrong, because if he ever stopped to think about it, why would he ever wanna take a hint? You either take a lesser punishment for just failing on your own, or you take a more severe punishment just to somewhat improve your chances of avoiding that lesser one. Not to mention that the more drunk he gets, the more of a crapshoot his answers will probably be overall. I think they should've either switched the punishments, or made it a risk vs. reward situation by having him only do the shot if he got it wrong after getting a hint.

Kuro mentions this in the video but the big reason his look better than the show's is because the show is animated and on top of that animated on a tv show budget. Could you imagine trying to animate his version of like frankenstrike, the void, atomix, wildmutt, Chromastone, Waterhazard, or Eatle. It would be a nightmare. Since this is just a comic though so at most we would see these aliens for a few frames it's much much easier. For a good comparison of what the animators can do when just drawing them to look cool check out the classic series concept art or alien force concept art for aliens they look really cool and are a interesting insight into what some of these aliens would look like in a world with no animation limits.

Hearing the Buckwild description, up until you showed the panels I really thought you were going a Schrodinger's cat route were he does all the possible options, and then based on what would happen in response to him taking a given action he can choose to opt out of having done that. He goes around the rock both ways and over the top, and based ultimately follows the course that achieves that the best, so if he'd get clotheslined running to the right, that version cancels out and the other two carry on.

Even if I wasn’t a fan, I would be able to tell at least 90% of the real ones on one key factor alone: Can it be a toy? Cause even if there were aliens with the coolest powers in the world, if it looks wonky, doesn’t have joints to move, or is too small. I can’t be a toy that they can sell. At least that’s how I view it as.
