My brother wanted to come play Adventure Motorcycle too. But he’s got a DRZ400SM. Can it be converted into an Adventure bike as well? After converting a street bike into an Adventure bike, this should be easy. But we have less than a week before our big trip so times against us. WILL WE MAKE IT?!?!?!

Bring a chunk of 2×4 for the kickstand. I've turned my sm into a super light adventure bike...as in light adventure not light bike. It gets me to a camping spot in the rocky mountains 75 miles from my home perfectly. Rest of the time unloaded from the camping gear, its still a hooligan.

i have a pack of several hundred. Mine is smashed to the point that it doesnt want to come off the bolt. Has never leaked so i just reuse it. TBH ive always reused crush washers on my bikes and never had one leak.@@TheGardenSnake

I live in Wisconsin and put 2,500 miles on a trip to Arkansas and back. The bike is a 2017 with 16,000 miles on it. The bike will do it! Comfort mods highly encouraged. Keep a god eye on oil level! I bought a bmw f800gs shortly after the trip to Arkansas. Lmao

I know this is a year old video… However if you read the owners manual, there is a section where you can change the “wheel size” in the screen on the bike via a percentage. If my memory is correct you can go up or down up to 30%. Just a heads up if the bike has a different wheel size than from the factory. Hope this helps someone!

If you have to ask DRZ. The wr450f is great but you really need to want it. It cost more to start, has to be made legal, converted to Supermoto (if that’s what you want to do) and the service intervals are way sooner. But it’s a really great bike.
