Where I am from "no money, no talk" means if you've no money you can't demand much. My dad will tell my mom "no money, no talk" when they have disagreement because she's a SAHM and he's paying so he gets to decide. It's a version of beggers can't be choosers. The "you don't bird me..." bird tends to mean nagging in this context (bird can mean something very different in other sayings), so it's you don't bother me I wouldn't bother you lol

@adenfzn
@adenfzn 3 ай бұрын
@@kodamec Which country in Asia are you referring to? I know terms can vary, but a power strip and an extension cord aren’t the same thing. In the U.S., a power strip has multiple outlets and often comes with surge protection, while an extension cord is just for extending the reach of one outlet. What they showed in the video is definitely a power strip. If you look it up, you'll see the difference between the two. I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it, but a lot of people tend to confuse these terms, so I just wanted to point that out. Anyway, I’ll leave it at that!

@@kodamec Is it because a lot of English terms in the Philippines come from the U.K.? In the U.K., people call a power strip an 'extension lead,' or a '6-way extension lead' if they want to be specific about the number of outlets.

Mechanical pencils are called "Sharp" because they were produced / invented by the Sharp corporation of Japan. Yes, the Sharp electronic company. They actually started with making mechanical pencils before they got into electronics business. The pencils were origanally called "EverSharp" but then shortened to simply Sharp. And the the whole company eventually was renamed to SHARP.

@@_Pixelated In Indonesia, we call toothpaste "Odol," a German toothpaste brand which are no longer sold here. Btw, I've been to Manila once and it's similar to Jakarta I love it. People are really nice, and the food is heavenly. My favorite was sisig. So good, yum! Still a lot of food I'd like to try but I had no chance at the time. So unfortunate that we have no idea of Philippines' cuisine here in Indonesia because I think we have very similar taste.

No three no four is derived from I Ching, meaning someone is not on their (right) path. eg a student not focusing on their studies or unemployed labours laying flat contributing nothing positive to the society but in a negative way. Or even in this clip the influencer, given the role as an influencer, not sharing the details or the cultures causing others wonder. its no three no four tho in a small way. Really Hopes ones get invited could do some research before showing up at least sharing some fun facts, as its a culture sharing channel or series no?😂
