parrots in captive are apparently known to eat their own eggs, im assuming both of your green chickens are male, so you're good, they wont be eating eachothers eggs anytime soon, cuz frankly, its kinda impossible for them to lay eggs😂 as for the boiled chicken eggs, go for it! they are safe for them, as long as they are boiled troughly/hard bolied eggs are safe for them. occasianally! like once a week, then you're good. we can tell they are living a loving and happy life with you😭😭

It’s not actually cannibalism, the eggs we purchase in the market don’t have the baby bird inside. The yolk is actually the protein the baby bird uses to grow inside the egg and eventually hatch.

Answer: No. It technically IS cannibalism, but the bird itself is just the egg white. The yolk, i the other hand, is what the bird *feeds* on while developing inside the egg. It's just like how we drink breast milk as babies, technically cannibalism, but not really.

Actually, if it’s a different species than those parrots than it’s not cannibalism, the definition of cannibalism is eating a member of your species, and I believe this also applies that if a subspecies eats another Species that is in the same species as it, than that’s also cannibalism.

It is not cannibalism, even though they all count as the same animal type; 1- Not the same species of bird 2- The unfertilized eggs (that we eat), doesn’t contains any kind of bird meat etc in it. Its just proteins and other stuff such as the yellow area that the unborn chicks feed on (if it was a fertilized egg) So, as long as its not a fertilized and the egg of the same species, it doesnt count as cannibalism.

It's not cannibalism. Commercial eggs generally aren't even fertilized, so they're just huge cells. Even if they were fertilized, there is no problem because birds often consume the eggs of other species. At my college we feed rescued crows whole raw eggs with seeds, so they get all their nutrients. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to dry the eggshells and make a powder out of them as a calcium supplement, but don't overdo it.
