Amen, brother. I love his Sumo content, and I know virtually nothing about Sumo aside from what I've seen in his videos, haha. Seth's become so accomplished in the art in such a relatively short amount of time, which is super inspirational. No doubt that his lifelong relationship with martial arts in general has helped in his progress, but yeah, the Sumo vids are amongst my favorites that he's ever uploaded.

Seth, I am definitely going to be mentioning you in future videos. Particularly when I teach the value of humility and a childlike sense of wonder when it comes to martial arts. I know some people are naturally dangerous, but for some of us, creativity and humility are absolutely key for us to develop our skill without giving up our mentality. You are often correct when other serious fighters who have more experience are wrong, and I believe it is due to your attitude. I won't be making any money off my videos, just an fyi lol

About the pain tolerance. I'm no scientist either, but our brain is rather wonderful. My glasses (I'm myopic) are of the cheap sort and when I first put them on I noticed a slight curving in my vision. Within a couple of hours this effect had disappeared entirely but when I'd remove them for the night and back again in the morning I would still notice it for a couple of minutes before it disappeared again. A few years down the road I just never see it. it's like my brains knows automatically and transform the signal or something and my vision is always fine, just blurry or not. I'm guessing it can do similar things with signals from any nerves. So at first it's sent as pain, but then your brain realize it should just be a mild signal to let you know you're hit. Then it will take a much stronger force to register as something dangerous enough to register as pain... makes sense to me at least. :D

Looking at bodybuilders i wonder if that muscle in the right place can help. Muscles act as natural armor, stabilizing the bones inside, and protecting weak spot outside. I think forearms, back and shoulders ,i have read even traceurs develop them. Can big pecs muscles help tanking blows? Abs and core are already trained, but big abs, powerbelly style is better? Also,i have no idea if leg muscles help with leg kicks. Maybe the vastus lateralis? I have read that thai block kicks with buttocks sometimes
