I think the Reason that only woman with the lower BMIs heard results from collagen is that they probably were not getting enough protein for collagen synthesis whereas the heavier woman are eating more calories and therefore more protein and had enough protein for optimum collagen synthesis. In order for this controlled study to really show they would have to control the number of grams of protein the woman got a day. What do you think? @ClarkPotter2 жыл бұрын
What do you mean "can make you bulk up"? You mean, grow muscle? By saying "make you" are you saying that it's a bad thing to grow muscle? Even with the perfect gym regimen and perfect diet, you're only putting on ~1lb of muscle/month. There's no such thing as "bulking up" in that you're all the sudden packing on 10lbs of muscle. If there were, every guy would do it. Unfortunately it takes month after month at the gym and clean eating to "bulk up."

I noticed it made me thicker than I would like to be. What you’re saying about gaining massive amounts of muscles is true, but for whatever reason it just made me feel bad and more like a bodybuilder look than I am going for. I feed it to my boyfriend. Bought the capsules (Way more expensive and you have to take tons of them) . Not sure that they made a difference or did anything at all for joints or skin.

Thanks for the great videos! Have you looked into “collagen loading”, taking extra collagen for 30 days to get your body back to a normal level? It might be helpful for people 50’s and above. Is there a limit to how much collagen your body can process at one time?

Jaye S studies that have been done with collagen show that the ultimate dose is 15grams at one time. Please view our blogs and study refrences resyncproducts.com to learn more on collagen dosing and skin health.

@clairedionne5592 жыл бұрын
There is nothing wrong in taking in a daily dose of extra Collagen as we age. The 30 days is approximately what we need (varies with individual, but clear results by a month) to repleat our normal ideal Collagen load... and feel the results at it's best. Then, it is only a matter of maintaining the newfound wellbeing we did not even know we could achieve with extra Collagen (Protein).

Regarding the Fish or Pig collagen recommendation, there was a good podcast with Dr. Josh Axe on Alan Misner's podcast, where they talk about how there are ten types of collagen! For example, chicken broth is type 2, beef/fish is type 1,3 and egg(shell) is 5,10.. and since the typical S.A.D. is typically deficient in creatine/collagen/vitamin-c, one should aim to get 50g of all 10 types of collagen daily.. or at least types 1,2,3,5,10 via Verisol Gelita , Great Lakes Collagen Hydrolysate, Custom Collagen Hydrolyzed Gelatin Collagen Peptides, Jarrow Beyond Bone Broth, Simple Tree Turmeric Curcumin Collage Peptides, or Peak Performance Hydrolyzed Bone Broth & Collagen Protein Peptides.

Marine collagen is rich in type I collagen, but it also contains a dose of type III. Marine collagen is actually considered the best type I collagen source, since it has a low molecular weight which makes it much easier to absorb than other collagen supplements. Type I collagen accounts for 90% of all the collagen in the body, and it plays a vital role in skin health, as well as healthy tendons, bones, ligaments, and joints. Bovine collagen, on the other hand, has more of the type III collagen, found in arterial walls, intestine walls, as well as skin, hair, and muscles. Both marine and bovine collagen combine both type I and type III collagen, so you can't go wrong with either. The only difference is in your dietary preference, and the fact that marine collagen is more easily absorbed.

Problems with the video: 1. She has a Vital collagen peptide container but she doesn't explain why or make any reference to it. If she wants to show that she is unbiased she needs to make some clarification. 2. No confidence when speaking to the camera. 3. Makes voice expressions that create a sense of sarcasms but them she is on the affirmative. 4. ANIMAL COLLAGEN peptides in the form of powder is a very processed industrial product. At the end of that process it really doesn't matter what animal source it came from other than to inform the public for those with allergies. Laura, the sad part is that many, if not most collagen powders on the market do not go through 3rd party testing before and after production. With that being said, you do not know if there are any fillers, banned substances, etc...that is a KEY for safe and effective implementation of collagen peptides. You also may be allergic to collagen, which happens as well. To learn more on what key questions you should ask before you buy collagen, read our blog resyncproducts.com/blogs/resync-blog/which-collagen-is-best
@Megz19863 жыл бұрын
If it’s the peptides as shown in the video, 1 scoop a day, which is 10g, is generally considered safe. Healthline says up to 15g a day is fine. However, if you’re only taking it to help with joint pain, skin health, hydration, or bone density, then 1/2 a scoop a day (5 grams) would be enough. And maybe that would also help alleviate the possible side effect you’re experiencing.

You may want to simply switch your source of Collagen (beef, chicken, plant), or get a different brand. Or somehow try what I found out by chance: I haf great results all over my body with Bone Broth (delicious taste!!!), but ended up with break outs which quite surprised me. However, I had a serious delay in delivery of my Bone Broth Collagen, which left me without it for almost 3 weeks. The 2+weeks of no Collagen cleared up my skin completely and surprise: ever since I started back on the Bone Broth Collagen (Dr Kellyann... low sodium, mixed with a few superfood added, and ohhh so tasty!), I have never had any more break out AT ALL. I am hooked on that Collagen. So a slight break from Collagen and then starting it non-stop did it for me. No more skin break outs. Plus a near-miracle for me: the daily Collagen intake has removed the symptoms of dangerously low white blood count accompanied with lymph oedema from chronic lymphocytic leukemia (I didn't want medication)! My doctors cannot believe it my results and keep being amazed as the results keep keeping the chronic leukemia at bay. Who could ask for better from Collagen regime?

Very interesting. Does this collagen peptide stuff possibly strengthen connective tissue?
@resync18853 жыл бұрын
celestialfix, Connective tissues are made of collagen. Fascia, for example, is made 70% of collagen. Please view our blogs for more information on the exact breakdown of collagen levels in every layer of your body. We also wrote an ebook with science-based recipes, "Recover Every Layer Of Your Body." The SKIN layer is a FREE chapter for doctors and others who want to learn more about collagen - how to eat precisely, what to avoid, and how to supplement effectively not to deplete collagen. As science tells us, collagen in itself is not as potent when taken with synergistic ingredients. Here is the link to our homepage. Scroll to the bottom to get the FREE chapter on skin. resyncproducts.com

Why does darker skin not loose it’s collagen?
@anasanchez67783 жыл бұрын
It does, just not as quickly it seems
@theabrescia19552 жыл бұрын
Darker skin is slightly thicker and has more protection from sun light which damages collagen. Also most darker skin has more elastic fibers which is great.

I use to take collagen exactly the one she have with her and I see improvement with my hair and skin but I start to feel my joint which I never had joint pain before especially when working. I gave it a break to see if the collagen was the cause. I never felt it a again. I am hesitate to go back on. My plan is to try it again see what happens.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to wait several months to see if the joint pain returns before testing it again?

She looks fine. It's not supposed to get rid of all wrinkles. It boggles my mind how dumb people are nowadays. If you want to get rid of wrinkles get botox.

Eat more protein, it's a lot cheaper and will produce exactly the same result.
@kylietorres4923 жыл бұрын
Nope
@resync18853 жыл бұрын
Charles W, please note, not every protein source contains the same amino acids as collagen does. That being said, you do need collagen in your diet to support your connective tissue health. However, if you eat chicken feet and consume a lot of bone broth made of a variety of bones, you are right. However, the typical American diet is depleted from collagen, not necessarily processed protein sources.
