Can Dental Treatment cause Trigeminal Neuralgia?

Dental filling will surely lead to Termial Neuralgia (TMJ) a suicidal pain. I am suffering from this after dental work.

Yes most definitely, I had No Neuralgia prior to the removal of a wisdom tooth, now it might just have been coincidental, but 20 years later it’s still hanging around. Best wishes to everyone suffering from it.

I am starting to suffer seemingly trigeminal neuralgia after orthodontic Invisalign refinement which went wrong due excessive force application in my last upper left tray. I’m currently with my trays off as long as my upper left periodontal ligament is swollen. Although I'm noticing improvement, every now and then I experience discharges coming from the root of that tooth to my left temple.

My pain started 3 years ago, which led to 2 root canals and a nightmare tooth extraction including a dry socket and bone fragment. My TMJ MRI showed anterior dislocation of meniscus on the opposite side of TN. Are there any specialist in Delaware or North Carolina?

I have never seen or heard of that. Not from the whitening itself, but if the patient was open for a long period of time for in office whitening it could be possible that the muscles are hyper active as a result of being open too long

Me too after a root canal treatment. I also realised that the pain went away for a month than I noticed when my bite was different the pain came back. The neck pain also caused it and so did the sinus.
