I have been using Prometheus in my coffee shop for at least 1000kgs of coffee. Burrs and flap is at around %25 (it shows in the menu) Still fast and reliable. Very easy to adjust and use. I root for gravimetric version of this.

Any company going to this much innovation will probably in time give it to the home Baristas…..my Eureka Specialita XL64 is great but the Prometheus is an upgrade for the professionals let alone the home user. Look forward to seeing some of this technology available at a price the home barista could afford.

Yeh I think with the huge range Eureka have they will certainly bring these features into one or two of their home models, surely! 🤞🤞

I've noticed that the price of the Prometheus is not high AUD 4K compared to Weber 8K or Mahlkonig so would it be stupid to get one as a home grinder and ignore the professional features?

Maaaaate that’s some ridiculous tech!🎉

Would be awesome to see this at a home level. But I still think the San Remo x1 could blow this grinder out the water (if it ever becomes available! Him hint: @sanremocoffee!!)

Sorry, but the internet of things is going to be very very bad. I strongly advise taking this off your shopping list.
@simonmarkatcheff1517 Жыл бұрын
If you mean using this while utilising internet connection would be problematic, the simple solution there is simply just use it as a grinder but don't use the internet connection. As far as I can see using the internet connection is an option and not mandatory. I can't see any grinder company in their right minds forcing the customer to use the internet in order to grind coffee beans, that would be insane. Rather it would be an option which the owner can choose to use or not use. Problem solved and no need to take this grinder off any shopping list.

Yeh it's just a grinder that can optionally be accessed by the internet if you wanted to adjust or read reports. It still works fine without wifi. 🙌

@@Rydecoffeecoach The issue with WiFi connection, is that the appliance send information to a third party. You can't turn this off. It represents a loss of privacy.

@@trojanhman8136 What information? Why are you concerned about your grinder collecting data when you're commenting on a platform that also has your data? You say it's a problem, but clearly it's not based on your actions.
