Thanks AJ. I consider Dr Goldhamer a health legend. If only the whole medical system was based around his work.

Thanks for the kind Shout Out to Dr. Valter Longo. He Does recommend a Plant-based diet via his Cures Clinics where his plant based dietitians will counsel clients according to a sliding scale ability to pay. Longo is one of my Hero’s!! He doesn’t own Prolong… but originally designed the mimicking diet menu with his University team to keep people out of trouble while Fasting at home for 5 days. Thanks for your clinic here in Santa Rosa Dr. Goldhamer and Congratulations on your new book! You’re fun and interesting to listen to also! Thanks Chef AJ! 💜💫🙏 P.s. Longo has Huge compassion for his patients.. and I think he would like to help even more cancer patients and others via Fasting and Plant based eating- but he must work within the constraints of out University Industrial Medical Complex at USC. He does recommend SMASH fish 2 x week- but I believe he’s afraid of frail elderly and others possibly getting too malnourished if not properly monitored. I think his compassion for humanity is HUGE!

This is the first video I have watched with Dr. Goldhamer. I have never fasted, and I do not like diets. I just preordered this new book, and I ordered the cookbook with Dr. Lisle that he mentioned. I am whole food plant based vegan. I guess I could do a fast for 5 days. That is really a blink of the eye if you think about it...........but my daily exercise routine is perfected, and I would never want to quit that. Oh well, it will good information for me to know what everyone is talking about.

Dr. Goldhamer mentioned the lack of effect fasting has on brain tumors. Does this include prolactinomas? I would like to stop taking cabergoline which I have been on for about twenty years.

Quick question… I’ve been wanting to ask for such a long time… why does Dr Goldhammer always wear black. A black shirt and… a black tie… just curious 🤔
@Autobahn45376 ай бұрын
Why would you care? You sound like a joyous, critical person to be around.
@annamclaughlin4116 ай бұрын
He answered that in another podcast. It's easier that way, he doesn't have to think about what to wear in the mornings. Plus his wife thinks he looks better in black (I'm not 100% I remember that part correctly) he's got tonne of same clothes 😅. I kinda understand that.
@annamclaughlin4116 ай бұрын

Steve Jobs wore jeans & black T-shirt everyday. I'm thinking about adopting that idea so, I don't have to spend so much time thinking about what to wear. But, may add a few colors. I tend to buy black shoes so whatever I wear needs to go with black shoes😁.
