They have money problems because Frieren's price for doing tasks is grimoires, not money. 😅 Himmel isn't probably as sensitive to magic, which is why he checked in on that village every year. As opposed to Frieren, who cast the spell & probably knew when seal would be close to breaking, which is why she finally went to that village when she did. That city with all the shipwrecks could be one of those odd coastal areas that have detritus from all over the sea happen to gather due to how the ocean flows.

Well, since Frieren is an elf, I doubt she'd have much luck finding her humanity. Her elfanity, maybe?

To be fair, the series does treat elves and dwarves as part of "humanity," with more common ground than not.

If you have infinite days, why get up before noon? Why rush to get things done? With infinite days, tomorrow will always be there. But there's more nuance to this, as there is to everything in this anime, which will be explored later.

Well Frieren isn't human so since she'll live longer very much doubt that and she's not human she just need to appreciate the relationships she will have on this journey as well as her past relationships

Still my fav part of ep 3 is Himmel getting upset that the strawhat kid got to see what he's been wanting to "all this time" just by flipping her skirt up lol. I dunno why that beats out beating Qual for me lol. This show honestly has the best flashbacks I can think of for any anime. And I usually dislike a lot of flashback use for exposition but this is not that.
