Hey Matty, just saw your comment again. Guess what, I started using KZbin's editor feature that now allows to make cuts within the video thus significantly reducing the fluff etc, and I already see better audience retention rate. I appreciate your input from a year ago! I strive to improve, so constructive feedback is always welcome :)

Is there a reason for me to record at 4k60fps on my gopro hero 9 if I plan to upload just at fhd/2k res videos? I'm asking for storage capacity wise if it's worth it, thanks for the amazing video

Nah, atp, there's no reason to even do 4k if you aren't uploading 4k video. Record at 1080p or 1440p at 30-60 fps. Lowering the res will improve thermals, battery life, and storage.

I've actually been using my hero 7 black with no battery and plugged into a power bank. The good thing is that instead of overheating after 50 minutes, it's overheating after 90 minutes when recording in 4k.

Great video. If my gopro was to be disconnected to the power source and shuts off, or overheats and shuts off while recording a video, will the video be lost or will it save up to the point where it shut off?

My gopro 10 shuts down once the battery is dead even if it's plugged into full external power.. it also won't turn on without the battery inserted [if I'm trying to use it with external power bank.. also my gopro hero 3+black did this all flawlessly.. I just "upgraded" from the 3 to the 10 and the 3 is better. Sure the 10 has some software features that are better but my hero3+black did 4k and had wifi and all that. I don't even understand what gopro has been doing with all these "new models" from the 3-10 models😂 this is crazy. What a waste of money.
