I disagree and I think the sheikh is wrong. There is truth in being wary of what you share-that you don’t normalize/share fitan nor torture, gore, & the destruction, mutilation, and dishonoring/reviling of Allah’s creation (especially of believers)-but that does not mean you suppress, hide, or downplay the atrocities being done against Muslims. The reason why it WOULD be haram is because *it is haram to violate the sanctity of Allah’s creation and His believers.* This is the general principle. Covering up & hiding the crimes & atrocities being done to us is a denial of our sanctity. In saying not to share actual footage, you are LITERALLY violating the sanctity of Allah’s creation and His believers by denying that they exist. It is an inversion of the truth, and one that I think is from shaytan (though many may not realize it, nor is it complete). Though I believe Assim Al Hakeem is a Muslim, I do believe that many of the propagators of this narrative to”not share” what is going on are hypocrites (but again, not all). All of this is to the best of my understanding, and Allah SWT Knows best. May Allah SWT Forgive us and Guide us.

Should we listen to what Allah says in Qur'an or follow you respected sheikh?? Surah 4. An-Nisaa', Ayah 75 And how could you refuse to fight in the cause of God and of the utterly helpless men and women and children who are crying, "O our Sustainer! Lead us forth [to freedom] out of this land whose people are oppressors, and raise for us, out of Thy grace, a protector, and raise for us, out of Thy grace, one who will bring us succour! It's a very good way to stay in this delusion of obeying rulers while we're disobeying what Allah has commanded in Qur'an. You should atleast be telling people that you've got a family with you so you just can't say anything against those rulers so that people could know. I addition there's no obedience in disobeying to Allah's commandments. It doesn't only imply that you shouldn't follow the wrong actions of rulers but it also includes to do the right thing which the rulers are stopping you from doing. Ig this is what we refer to as amr bil maroof WA nahi anl munkr & even young children know this very well but why are we going against the core of Islam and submitting to a taghut??
