What if we still did a really difficult challenge... but with a full team using hardcore nuzlocke rules and only fusions in crazy gameplay? Monotype Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
(1) If a Pokémon faints, it must be permanently boxed or released.
(2) Only the first new Pokémon encountered in each Route/Area can be caught.
(3) No Legendaries/Mythicals, duplicates, or same-evolution-line Pokémon can be caught or used. If a duplicate is encountered, the next unique type-specific Pokémon encounter can be caught.
(4) Additional Pokémon may be caught for the purpose of HM use, but these may not be used in battle at any time during the run.
(5) No Items can be used in battle (Held Items are allowed).
(6) Party Pokémon levels are limited to the highest level Pokémon of the next Gym Leader or Elite 4 Member. So long as your Pokémon are at or below the level cap when the Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member battle starts, they can level up mid-battle.
(7) "Set" Battle Mode must be used at all times.
(8) No connecting with other games for the purposes of importing Pokémon, Items, etc.

Facts I literally only watch his nuzlocke videos I don't care for the only nuzlocke channels. I love how he purposely makes it as hard on himself as possible. Pokemon games a normally so easy this is the only wayy to really test ya skills

The Charizard Aerodactyl fusion that Blaine uses is Tigrex from Monster Hunter. Zapmolcuno is a reference to the Pokemon Adventures manga which had Team Rocket do the same thing and fuse them.

Okay, here's a REALLY cool idea for an infinite fusion nuzlocke. First two pokemon found on each route must be fused and cannot be unfused. Limits the type variety a bit.

Personally I think for this game I think 2 encounters per route (or one encounter if it's a wild fusion) should be allowed so you can have as many team options as a FR/LG playthrough.

The great thing about this game is there's so much content, there's another 8 badges in Johto after. They're looking to add different starting towns as a option. But the game also has amazing randomizer options built in so you can really vary your challenges and nuzlockes up with different mons.

Hi Silph, what a great video! Also I want to point you that you can change the sprites of the fusions if they have alt ones (some do). Lastly, the safari zone encounters are actually 5, because if you catch them they will say the area where you caught them (like Area 1 , Area 2 ecc). There is also a powerful mon in Area 5 hidden in a structure :)

To add to that, the sprite that is highlighted when fusing is a custom sprite. Also, for future playthroughs the gym leaders all give wonder trade cards and that could be useful for "new" encounters in every main city.

Put the hard mode, the normal mode is easy as hell :P Also you can use rage candies to level down your pokemon if needed to be in the level cap because, sometimes, is hard to stay bellow it :P Also you can change the sprites on the menu for each pokemon

The true highlight of the run is the Hoothoot/Ledyba hybrid. It may not have seemed like the best, but just having it on your team allowed it to give your opponents nightmares with how hideous it looked, resulting in all the AI's bad decisions over the course of the playthrough.

The key to good fusions: 1st: Good type combo (either hitting most of the type chart with super effectiveness or having almost no weaknesses) 2nd: The best of both Pokemon (use Sp Att Mons as head and Att Mons as bodies. Use their strength!)

17:34 you can get a Moon Stone before leaving Mt. Moon. There's a part before leaving the cave that leads to a spot with a store. Outside is a little area where if you visit it during the night, you'll find some Clefables. Interact with them to get the Moon Stone.

I'll note that if you just get the body of a pokemon with the standard face of the fusion kinda jpg'd on there it means there is no custom art for that fusion. It's community-based art and it does make sense that 175000 pokemon don't all have art yet. If you want to know which has it before fusing, if the silhouette is green, it means it is custom. You can also swap the fusion to check if the other version has art but it might flip typings if the fused pokemon have secondary typings
