I'm not entirely sure he HAS lost any single runs yet. There's been plenty where he hasn't been able to beat Red or Steven in games where that applies, but he did end up beating the champion which is the goal of the run, the post game fights are side objectives if he can manage them.

This run would’ve been much easier if he had used Return instead of Body Slam. The drop in power is nearly 20, which isn’t worth hoping for paralysis and then hoping the opponent is fully paralyzed, especially when you’re slower then a lot of the Pokemon.

Gen 1 evolution by stones don’t learn any level up moves. As you could start with a lvl 5 second stage evolution but the move limits will make early game harder.

Always love seeing the pokemon challenge runs, I would like to suggest an Only Gulpin run. Gulpin is a mono poison type from gen 3 that has a base stat total of 302 with 70hp/43atk/53def/43spa/53spd/40spe, its lvl up move list is pretty limited with it being primarily poison and normal with a focus on stalling than direct damage using toxic and stockpile/swallow/spit up, but its tm learnset is pretty vast with several types it can cover such as water, ice, grass, ghost and electric.

There are two romhacks which I think would be REALLY good for an April Fool's video. Unova red is just like regular red, except the gen 1 mons have been replaced with gen 5 mons, and Kalos Crystal is in a similar vein. They're really cool and fun, and it could give MDB a reason to fool around with Gen 5 mons without having to deal with Gen 5 experience.

From what I know, this is done by a combination of creating a custom class with skills that are not going to be used unless intentionally and leveling up only being possible when the player goes to sleep after qualifying for a level-up. That’s not where the true challenge lies. Watch MDB’s first Oblivion run with Illusion magic only to see what I mean.

@@cordyn1561 Challenge is not always synonymous with difficulty. MDB has said himself in some videos that the challenge comes from the time spent on a particular run, or how low a level the run can be done at, not always the statistical liabilities of a certain Pokemon.

I had an challenge idea to see if you're interested. How about a Pokemon Yellow Trainer Class Run? You choose one Trainer Class, can only use Pokemon this class uses(So if a class used Machop but not Machoke, you wouldn't be able to evolve), and you can only use TMs if said class uses those!(Needless to say, this means most classes will only use level up moves, lol.) I'd recommend Bug Catcher, Lass or Youngster for added challenge, lol.

This comment isn't at all related to the video (though it is good for the algorithm); I just don't know where else to leave it. I just finished listening to your episode of Desert Island Graps from Cultaholic, and I loved hearing your list and story. I knew a fair bit of the personal stuff you talked about already just from being around, but still love hearing about all the success you've had. l also loved the 3 matches. Owen vs Bret is something I think a lot of people would pick but the 2018 Rumble and Ziggler's cash-in weren't things I'd ever thought of. I'd love to hear you just do a rundown of your favorite matches at some point.
