Mah-Dry-Bread - Gameplay & Streams! I have a challenge for you, use a team of terrible Pokémon to beat any Pokémon game however ur Pokémon cannot exceed lv 60 or 65. U can use a team of 4 terrible stat Pokémon, u can’t evolve, u can use items but only if there is no choice. Meaning if all ur strategies aren’t working. U can use items but nothing super crazy. Only weak items with weak stat boost. At lv60 or 65 put an everstone (I think that’s what it is called) so u don’t gain experience.

I've always hated the evolve by trade system. And now with things such as the GTS shutdown for these older titles it makes it damn near impossible to cheese the system. Back in the day there use to be a glitch where you could put your evolve through trade pokemon up for some ridiculous trade like a lvl 100 Abomasnow. Let it sit and go do a different trade for like a lvl 2 Geodude then cancel your previous trade to get your original pokemon to evolve. And with ROMs I'm pretty sure you can't use the clubs in the Pokecenter to trade so that not an option for like half the player base. It's a real damn same through and through.

oh god, i did that when i was younger. even though i'd never used a ledian, i liked its design, and i ended up finding a shiny ledyba, so i thought doing a solo run through gold with it would be fun. i'd beaten silver with just a furret and it wasn't that bad, how much harder could a ledian be? answer: it was a nightmare, i had to be so overleveled for claire and it took me dozens of tries and liberal use of x items to beat red. i think her moveset was ice punch/thunderpunch/attract/double team (or maybe toxic, i don't recall). ok coverage, though that doesn't matter much with base 50 Sp. Atk. it's probably doable without items, but it would be a slog.

Been doing some tough challenges, how about an easier one: Can you beat Pokemon, Two Heads Are Better Than One 1. Only Multi-headed Pokemon (Dugtrio, Magneton, Doduo, Dodrio, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Weezing, etc.) Kangaskhan dosnt count. 2. No TMs, but can learn HMs. Can only use HM Pokemon in combat if they are the above mentioned type. 3. Can train pokemon that need to evolve (But cant progress with them.) 4. No items in combat, only held items. 5. No glitches or exploits, except to alter your starter if you want.

It is an easier challenge. However, since you cant use items, but can faint one or two, the challenge is How Low of a level can you beat it at. Also, since you cant use TMs, only HMs and moves they evolve into, your move set is restricted. That means you have to plan even further on matchups.

With the emulator I use for my HG Nuzlocke if I have an open tab for the game but go to my homescreen and click the shortcut I made it reboots from the title screen meaning if I don't save before doing so I lose a ton of progress. You can imagine my heart dropping dread when the 3 pokemon I grinded to level 10 from levels 2, 5, and 5 were back at those levels this morning because I forget to save before falling asleep. Normally it would have just been no big deal but with the weight of a Nuzlocke hanging over you it's makes it oh so more painful.

I remember the first time trading that Haunter, thinking to myself this is fishy 'cause the haunter would evolve, but same times excited to get a Gengar without needing actual friends to trade... only to do a 180 when it didn't evolve and talked to the girl again.

That was gen 5, I’m making it a bit tougher because there’s the flying, ghost, Fighting (which may be easy thanks to a flying bug type) and steel type gyms.
