THANK FOR WATCHING EVERYONE!! subscribe, share the video, do whatever ya feel!! allow me to explain my silly little change at the end that made a big difference - basically i moved omega in front of mu allowing for omega to cast the tau at the end of the wand- which let my multiply the crit modifiers over again via an extra cast alongside an extra chainsaw being tossed out. It definitely would have worked better if i had piercing at the start but whatever lol. (the whole tau into divide by trigger spell into modifiers at the end of the wand is a setup to basically use divide by on modifiers and multiplying them) critting chainsaws do lots of damage! if i had a phi on there instead of a chainsaw after M i could do a 34 orb with w/e perks i had probably. noita is cool :) --- edit - satinn has gone into more detail in the replies! !!! -- i am combining comments to pin this !! Little tip for you actually. As far as I am aware if you are trapped inside even the densest of rock, you should be able to make a breathable pocket by rapidly moving back and forth. "Omega casts everything, even other letters, at the cost of decreased CPU performance" I don't think I've ever heard anyone just come out and say it like that before, but it is such an apt descriptor. Every time I try to use omega I regret it not because the build is bad but because while the damage per frame is incredibly high my damage per second inevitably drops, because those frames are now multiple seconds apart. I'm doing a chaingun run and I decided it would be a great idea to blood magic my way into a free triple cast of omega, chainsaw, and wand refresh (the omega stacked a bunch of modifiers and utility spells on to the chaingun bullet to make it devastating). The latter two make the next cast effectively instant, and the blood magic makes it basically cost no mana, at least such a minor amount that the natural regeneration handles it, the problem as always with omega, dear reader, is that the frames dropped hard. I ended up switching to using Mu, which is cheaper, applied all modifiers after the refresh to the cast state, and as I found out does not apply the mana drain effect of mana to damage (which will give me much more damage added than a heavy shot but would normally reduce the total mana to 50, so an instant repeated cast would be useless, apparently it only doesn't consume the mana with Mu, not Gamma Alpha or Omega, so that might be a bug idk). A big win in every way except if I want to add projectiles or utilities to the cast state now they have to be hard cast. Also the ending is because you ended twice, once with 33 orbs for the peaceful ending, once with 0 orbs at the sky altar, not enough for pure gold, peaceful, or NG+ so toxic it is.
