This was an interesting idea for a challenge I have to say. And the thing about fast food making your mood feel darker and you zone'd out more I feel that in my soul. I tried to drastically de-crease my amount of fast food because of how it made me feel mentally like absolute poop. I wonder if it's just any bad quality of food can make your mood feel worse? I absolutely suck at making food for myself and often tend to eat the same 2 or 3 things for months in a row and I can absolutely feel it have an effect on my mood from time to time. Then again that might be at least a bit countered if I did any amount of physical exercise or training but I dunno

One of the unexpected side effects of doing Keto for me has been the almost complete elimination of processed food, which resulted in such a drop in blood sodium levels that I'm now under doctor's orders to salt my food *more* rather than getting less sodium. It is crazy how much of our salt comes from processed food.
@rollout29262 жыл бұрын
You also flush it all out by doing keto in general. When I started keto I was at 368 lbs. I dropped all the way to 182 and put on a ton of muscle by lifting weights and got no loose skin with such a drastic weight loss. I got lucky but I think fasting throughout the day helped with that. But one thing I always did is add himalayan pink salt to all my water. So that's the most important part.
@reasonableastartes2 жыл бұрын
@@rollout2926 I've tried that, but I just can't handle the taste of salt water. Gotta take a crystal of one, then a swig of the other.

Here's my problem: I had a water leak in my kitchen so it is torn apart to eliminate mold (and asbestos) and I won't be able to use it for weeks so I have no choice but to stick with take-out, microwave meals etc, a lot of it fast food. Tried Arby's brisket sandwiches for dinner last night. Tonight probably will do Stouffers in the microwave. Nice to know what to look forward to. Does pizza count as "fast food"?

@abc123tiktok2 жыл бұрын
Yes but the premise of supersize me wasn't to get into better shape by only eating fast food. He just did what would happen to most people by eating fast food. Paul followed through by losing weight and improving his physical score. So I give props that while it is possible to do this, its like tying both hands behind back to try and get healthy.
