Looks great! My wife said, "It looks like it belongs in an 80's art museum in the best possible way!" Totally agree. I also love the shot of you sitting on it, where the swoosh of the chair back and the swoosh of your hair go opposite directions. Beautiful little unintentional artistic detail there.

Absolutely 100% worth the wait!!! That throne is awesome. Can't wait to see what's next. Have you already done a pencil, analogue clock? I know it's kinda basic, but it would go well in the pencil furniture collection. Also anything in the fairy or gnome direction or D&D/ LOTR esqu fantasy. I really dug that giant wire spool diorama you did.

AMAZING NICK!!!! I have been missing your colored pencils and Lego projects! I know they take a long time to make but we do appreciate them! Maybe you can do shorter videos which each of the steps (maybe 3-4 minutes, like step 1 concept and mold creation) and the final video with the entire process. That way you have videos more often and we still get the longer videos. I know we would watch all of them and it would be really cool to go along with you, week by week, seeing all the steps it takes to create and how truly time consuming the projects are. Love your work! Thank you for taking the time to do what you do!!!

What a cool looking chair! It's so much fun watching you make things like this. What about a bench like this one but maybe for a lol garden? Is it possible to put something like this outside with maybe a clear layer above the pencils so they wouldn't get wet and are safe from the weather? I'd love so see just a two seater bench placed in a beautiful manicured garden for that perfect whimsical touch, or maybe a beautiful spiral piece. I don't know, just something to add a touch of whimsy to an otherwise old fashioned garden? Happy creating. Loving your awesome creations!

Awesome project it turned out great and the thousand pencil Throne chair will go awesome with the thousand pencil floating down river table. 👍👍👍👍
@lauranugent1171 Жыл бұрын
Nice! If you need a thousand year project, how about cutting the pencil’s length wise so the contrast between the colorful center and the wood is fully noticeable. I always like how that looks. Do I think it’s a realistic project? No, not for me, but you are the one that came up with a chair and a ukulele with pencils.

Love the throne, Nick. It's fabulous. What I'd really like to see you having a go at has nothing to do with wood turning or resin, but it's something that I think you could have a ridiculous amount of fun with. Using a carpet tufting gun. Sounds dull, I know, but have a look at a few videos and you'll see what I mean. Chaos, involving a large power tool, which gives you a nice little rug at the end of it.

Dr. Seuss would be so proud. Especially liked the shape of the dowels--a hidden surprise. Idea: Is there a way to make lattice-work with different colors going over and beneath others?
That is pretty epic! Goes perfect with your pencil table. If your looking for ideas, try recycling something and put it in resin. Like soda/pop cans or plastic bottles.
