How usable is the middle seat (for a petite adult, say) when the two outbound seats are used for child seats?

It’s pretty tight, in between the seats so it wouldn’t work for 3 across.

How reclined was the Liing in this configuration?

I had the Liing on full recline to occupy the maximum space within this vehicle. During normal use there should be a bit more room within the vehicle.

It’s very similar to the Rav4. You can find that in my channel. I was in between strollers at this time.
