I modded my SharpFire with the stock spring and a firestrike spring and it works...kind of,you need to pull the trigger really hard but when you do it makes the dart leave a welt on your back.

This has been asked numerous times already. The answer is yes. Obviously. Any two springs that are the same frequency can nest inside each other and since K26 is obviously the same frequency as itself of course it can.

You could totally cut away the barrel shroud bit of a falcon fire and the little box that has the rail. Make a neat compact backup gun.

If you wanted to upgrade the Falconfire. I'd cut out the dart storage, do shell modification so you can stick a katana magazine in the bottom of the shell. I'd take the plunger out of an ionfire or sharpfire and get rid of the priming indicator. replace the dart tube with one from a sharpfire, hog it out where you need to, put a dart pusher and attach a brass or aluminum barrel to the front of the falconfire. Presto, sealed breech mag fed short dart shooter, with 18 kg spring potential.

Dear Captain Xavier, after buying a sharpfire and putting a spring upgrade in it, I realised it is possible to put a nightfinder spring (the one with a low amount of coils) in a sharpfire. After the nightfinder spring is added, the sharpfire will still catch and prime as usual. Greetings from a fellow Nerfer

Captain Xavier, I added the nightfinder spring in the sharpfire with the stock spring still in it, I didn't need to add a better catch spring. I hope this information will help.

I love my Falconfire; it feels good, looks cool as hell and is pretty fun to load, if a little slow. The only change I'd make is removing the dart storage in the bottom.

You can reload the Ionfire by dropping a dart down the barrel then priming for faster reload without bending the dart in and when you close the breach it pushes the dart into place against the tab in it.

Hey Captain Xavier! I just recently found your channel, and have been binge watching your videos. I just have a hypothetical question related to re-shelling blaster innards: Would it be possible to completely take the innards out of a blaster like the Rampage, and put it into a permanently folded-out Deploy? (For the mind games) As well as do you think it would be possible to put improved blaster internals into the nerf Star Wars Han Solo blaster? Are there any well-performing blasters that have parts similar enough to work in the same fashion as the Han Solo blaster, and if so, are there any that are thin enough to fit inside of the blaster's shell without cutting it up? (I really want that blaster to be good, because it looks so amazing! Yet it's very strange plunger tube and tapering spring make it so funky to work with, that it would probably be easier to just put new innards into the shell.) If you think any of these ideas/concepts are cool, feel free to use them. You're the coolest!

The Deploy, yes. This has been down to build hidden upgraded Deploys. The Han Solo blaster...I don't think so. The internals are fairly unique. Obviously if you found the right spring it CAN be upgraded. All my video showed is that it cannot take a K26.

Um... Cap? What I did for my Sharpfire was to keep the original spring in the blaster and then put the bigger spring over the other spring, and it worked out fine.

Yeah I agree. The dart holder is so useful for anything not clip or mag fed. My issue with the ionfire (don’t know if this is present on the sharpfire I don’t have one) is that the breech is too short meaning you have to bend your darts to load it. It’s a shame really I find it fun to operate. The slide has a rather nice grip design to it.

While I'm early, I have a question for Chaylo. I'm making a firefly drain blaster and want to make a single barrel. Do you think it would be a good idea to make a breech with fishing line epoxied right in front of the dart insertion point and run to the end of the barrel for the legit string spin thing?

That was the spring Chris sold with his brass sharpfire kit. I just recently built one my self, I got rid of a lot of the dead space and used a 7kgRET spring and a 7.5kg strong-arm spring with full brass breach and barrel and when that is done, the sharpfire becomes a very very accurate blaster. Chris use to say it all the time but I never really believed, but I can hit a can at like 30-40feet with cut down FVJ,s. and I am not a great shooter but I was impressed.

It is a powerful spring that fits many Nerf blasters. The term "K26" comes from the fact that the last 3 digits of the McMaster-Carr (the company that sells them) part number for it is "K26"
