Being 100% serious: This is quality content to me. Just a chill and relaxing cooking video with James and co, being quite funny towards the end as well when Lucy comes in, and the beans just tasting like beans etc (plus I got a laugh out of James trying to wipe up the spilled "Bloody Mary" from the table, only for it to dribble down the sides). Best KZbin video I've watched in a while.

there's that absolutely lovely moment during Lucy's cheap travel series where she phones him when she's stuck somewhere, and the first things he asks are "Are you okay? Do you need more money?" 😂 It was so peak dad. Is it known if James has kids of his own? I know he's the most reclusive in terms of his private life.

He did say he enjoys working with the younger people and spending time with his family. So you definitely saw that part of James.

I think I’ve watched most of the ‘bugout bunker’ stuff now, and what bothers me more isn’t the ever changing Lurpak date, the ‘like, comment, subscribe’ or the food, but the fact there are either breakers tripped or of different manufacturer in the consumer unit behind James. I feel I now need to know more and think it deserves an episode.

As you are using the Tefal induction hotplate, as I have, don't go over level 2. It will burn everything in seconds if you go higher. I love my Tefal hotplate. It's great but one needs to be very careful as it behaves totally different than an electric hotplate.

It may well be true, but it isn't very helpful. It's kinda like telling someone who has been in a car crash that it wouldn't have happened if they had driven more carefully.
